About the new BasilVersary rule.

"- nx code will not be given out immediately to the first person, instead it will be given out at random either at the end of the day or at the end of the BasilVersary. you are only eligible to receive the nx code if you complete the riddle on that day. this means that you can only win the nx code for day 7 on day 7, etc." 1- Does it mean that now a random person will get the NX code anytime between the day of the riddle and the day BasilVersary end, and doesn't have to be the first person who answers the riddle? OR 2- Does it mean the first person answers the riddle still gets the NX code, but in a random time between the day of the riddle and the end of BasilVersary?

Number one. The people who are excluded from winning are those who haven't solved the riddle in time (duh... XD), people who were caught spoiling and the moderator team (including MrBasil himself). Anybody else who solves the riddle in time has a chance. (I guess people from outside GMS can also win, but they won't have much use for that NX code except giving it away)

I interpreted it as the first person still getting the NX, but instead of getting the code right away, they will get it at a latter time. But pavchka's rationale makes sense.

I sort of agree with not being able to participate. Of course we were asked to submit riddles, but on the other hand... Imagine one of runs off with that Netboook. :S I don't think the community would like that. On the third, personal hand, I'm pleased because actually taking part would cause me stress (gotta win...! gotta WIN!) and since I'm not taking part I take my time fixing the riddles (hm. Seconds, for the last few) and don't feel obliged one some way.

Hypothetical Question: What if there were two people to de-code the secret code and happened to be the first people/person to submit it at the exact same time? Edit: Another question, where does one type and submit the "code" on day 31?

Hyperstep It's conflict of interest as well. Quite a few reasons why mods can't participate. moneymin Doesn't matter for who gets it first. Everyone who gets it THAT DAY is entered to win that day's NX. If you don't enter it on the correct day, you don't get the NX

� have a question about the Basilversary: The new rules state: if you give out an answer from this point forward (Oct 6 07:30 BT) you will automatically be disqualified from receiving the nx codes and netbook. But are you still disqualified when you give tips? It's technically not an answer.
