So I have to do a essay on Macbeth and the topic is 'Why did shakespeare write Macbeth?' and I'm pretty much stumped trying to find 3 reasons/arguments about that topic... So if anyone is a expert on Macbeth/essays, please help?

Macbeth is one of my favourite Shakespeare plays. And I guess you could relate it to something historical going on at the time? Or that happened before?

well i don't think he wrote with those specific things in mind, i think those are more of the things you get out of the play ourselves but it's alright senor poopypants it's onyl a highschool course just site example from the book and conclude it with the evil nature of human being.
