I'm not afraid of other people's actions. I barely pay attention to them, save random times when I feel I should. No. I'm afraid of my actions. If I do something I perceive as stupid, or something that may threaten may threaten my social standing, I beat myself up, and I never forget it. I don't think this is paranoia actually, but what would this be?

I think you are being a bit more self aware. You don't want to be the stupid guy. In fact noone does. As long as you are mature and you have the right standings than you are ok. Beating yourself is a bit extreme. I've done stupid things before but I don't beat myself. I just say I don't do that again.

No. That makes you very self conscious about your social standing. it's super common and should wear off as you get older. but if you feel this really disrupts the way you function in your day to day life, i suggest you see a therapist.

He's the only I would be capable of trusting.
