Okay, so we all know that the new exp curve will make it insanely easy to level. And I don't know, this idea just popped into my head. There should be an option where you can choose to go by either the old exp chart or the new one. Players looking to just have fun with the class and experience many different classes could choose the easier to level up chart. Players who want to be 'hardcore' or 'legit' would choose the harder exp chart. Seeing as this probably isn't fair if the players both got the same skills and damage for the easy and hard chart, there would either be other opportunities for the harder chart (extra/better skills, medals, rings, etc.) or less options for the easier class (nerfed skills, loss of some skills completely, less AP/SP, etc.) Who's with me? Lol.

Well, from what I've heard, after about level 120 or so, the exp it takes really hikes upwards. So i don't think that the exp curve is all that bad, you get to 4th job faster, but it seems as though the time to get to 200 is about the same. Summarized as: OT - I'm not with you.

I think using the term "legit" is being brought out to have a new meaning. Which even if this option were to exist everyone would already be legit. Because legit would be leveling without hacking... atleast in my time when hackers populated maplestory majoritly and little kids could easily do them. EXP curve wont be as bad as you make it sound.

Why are people so afraid of the dam curve? From my calculations at 4th Job the New KMS EXP Curve is not even 2x exp.

[/quote] Not at all, the exp'll still increase drastically after 4th job, but much less than the exp needed to lvl at this moment. IIRC I need only like 53% of the exp to the next lvl compared to now. The new exp-curve is way more rigorous than the first one, kind of unfair to high lvled people. Like, with the total exp I got now pre-BBU, the same exp after BBU would probably get me to lvl18x-19x, where I'm ''only'' 165 now... |

I don't understand why maplers are concern with the new exp curve. Getting to lvl 2oo would be the same as getting to lvl 192. If you were lvl 192, you would try to get to 200 anyways. So a lvl 50 before big bang would not be anywhere close to reaching a "pro" level. Training after 4th job will still be intense and time consuming regardless. If it takes a year to get to lvl 200, taking a month off of it, will not motivate the majority of the population to get to 2oo you see what im saying?

I think the new exp curve is pretty fair. It makes training MUCH easier at lower levels, but not that much easier at higher levels. I know there's a ton of people who can't even make it to 4th job right now, and this helps them a lot. For those of us who don't have such a hard time training, we can get past the boring lower levels and try out more classes and skills. The exp curve doesn't make such a huge difference for people who are already 150+, which is good, because people will still have to work hard to reach level 200. The new exp curve basically gives people a huge push into late 3rd job/early 4th job, but keeps the ultimate goal of 200 reasonably difficult to attain.
