Is it okay to use the word "Crap" on an essay? Please give me honest answers, and if not, what else would be a good word instead of crap? Such as, "your work is crap".

Probably not, although if you're considering using "crap" (slang) in your essay, it probably sucks anyways so go for it.

It really depends on what kind of essay you're writing, but generally no.

I'd stay away from using crap, even though it's hardly a bad word. If you're quoting someone or a text or whatever, sure, you can use it.

if it was an essay, i don't think crap is a good choice yo use. however, if it's like a story, it's okay if it's in dialogue. I guess.

In the end you just get a bunch of 15 year olds who wrote nonsense while trying to write at a university level
