i was going to buy ultimate game cards although does anyone know when they stop working for nexon? or did they already discontinue?

They are still taking them. If you log in to the website and choose "charge account" there is a notice in pink lettering saying: Please Note: Ultimate Game Cards from PayByCash will continue to be accepted as payment for NX Cash.
