k, I got this problem for school and I have no idea how to do it :/ here it is: Write a real life problem for 5x + 2 = 32

Bob got 32 dollars yesterday for mowing the lawn. He also recieved 2 dollars extra from a neighbour. He mowed it 5 times. Find out how much money he got for each time he mowed it. probably wrong.. LOL

In other words, Bob runs a lawn mowing service for his neighbors. He charges a flat rate of 2 dollars, and 5 dollars for every sqft he mows. He in total, has gained 32 dollars after mowing his neighbors lawn. With X being the # of sq ft he mowed, how many sq ft of grass did he mow? X= 6 5(6) +2 = 32

heheh @ three above, not that there was any flaw in that at all, but it just turned out funny. Who would mow 6 sq feet of lawn? (Also, that's VERY expensive for VERY LITTLE work done) But still. It works out. Listen to him.

Fred is selling T.V.'s. He charges 5 dollars for every TV, and 2 dollars for delivery and installation. His customer buys 6 TV's. So really, its just the 2 dollars is a flat fare/fee, and the 5x is the rate. 32 is just the result of 5x+2.
