:D oh my god I just discovered this section, awesome If you need any drawing/painting advice, feel free to ask me, I'm not saying I'm super pro but I think I can give some helpful tips and links. I can NOT teach you how to draw, as I'm not a teacher, so please dont ask me to teach you how to paint like me :P I'm also more focused on digital art and realism, traditional art or manga/anime is not really my m�tier (lulfrenchwords). [/quote] Yeah reference is really the best way to go for a beginner, until you have got all the proportions down yourself. There are alot of great tutorials on DA about proportions http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&global=1&q=proportions+tutorial But using reference is important, When you practise everything is allowed! You just can't put it up as your own!

We only drew flowers or messed around with clay :P I mostly teached myself.

Do you use pattern resources/texture resources or do you draw those details yourself? If use of resources, which blending mode/whatever effect do you use to make them blend and SHARE WEBSITE <3?
