I made this for another forum but as someone noted on Basil that there is no "How to draw" tutorial, I decided to post it here as well. Feel free to suggest tutorials. Any kind of art is permitted. | Thanks for posting this. I just wanted to point out in the animals section one of the links wasn't done properly. I feel really ashamed of myself, even bothering to write a guide on drawing. But really...I just wanted to know, is my drawing really THAT BAD? |

| I'm not really able to judge your work as I don't even know your age or the amount of time you have been drawing. But for now I have to say that it's not that good. I've seen worse, I'll be honest about that. But there's certainly a lot you need to improve. And thanks for the heads up about the link, let me just edit it. |

| Ok, I'm 12 and I've been working on drawing probably all my life but probably really starting to focus on it in the past year. Lol, if you think mine is bad check out some of mine from last year. | Everyone is able to improve everywhere. I usually just look around the internet and look for art that inspires me to draw like that. From that point I just try to imitate the style and along the way I will change the style to my own and switch the art that inspires me. That way my art developed most. The best way to improve is to just draw a lot, have fun when doing so and practicing a lot. Take criticism serious and don't get dis encouraged by harsh words. EDIT: LOL, I don't really like Crilley's style. But he certainly knows what he is doing. |

| I'd say the only problem for now is that your art is "underdeveloped". I think you will improve over the years if you really practice and draw a lot. | Your art is a bit childish in technique and style. I kind of mean that it's still in an early stage. You aren't that experienced yet and you will probably learn more and progress more if you draw more. What I'm trying to say is that, your art is still young. It's not that amazing because you just started. You still have plenty of time to improve though :]. And there's NOTHING wrong with asking a lot. I'm actually very happy when I can help others like this. Even though I'm not the most amazing artist out there either. |
