Ok, I remade it, locked the old thread ect ect ect, Tell me how you like it! The archer equipment guide! By ytrewq8421 Introduction: This guide is a detailed guide to all archer equipment for all levels, for people with all levels of funding, as well as little tips to make money for that level range. This guide is organized by level, so if your a level 60 hunter looking for what new equips you can get for 500k, then hit control-F (for most browsers) and type level 60. This would take you to the level 60 section of the guide. The guide Levels 10-30 Weapons Bow section: Level 10: Use the "Archer's bow" that athena gives you! It has exceptional attack for its level, so dont lose it. In fact, you can use it until level 25 or 30! Level 15: The composite bow is not a good weapon, considering that "archer's bow" has a higher attack. I do not recommend getting this weapon from the NPC. However, there is a very good crossbow at level 15 called "Solomon's bow" or "unstable Solomon's bow" This is used to kill a weird boss that you cant hit without it! Do the quest to get the animal helm also. I forget if you need "Solomon's bow/unstable Solomon's bow" to get your animal helm, someone please tell me. Level 20 "hunter's bow" is pretty much the same as "Archer's bow" except with 2 less dex. You can buy it if you want, but I don't recommend it. If you really want to have the best damage, you can try to find an above average "hunter's bow" and use 100% scrolls on it, giving you a whomping 43 attack! (if it was 1 above average" But its not necessary, and you can use the "Archer's bow" for 5 levels longer. If you are STRless, then your stuck with the "archer's bow until level 35 anyway" Level 25 The standard option for this level is the "battle bow". The attack on the battle bow is good (40 attack clean!), so buy one. If you have a ton of money and you want the best possible damage, you can 100% this bow. And there is another bow option out there, albeit harder to obtain. The Astaroth bow has 41 attack 10dex, and TEN SLOTS! This is a nice bow to scroll if you find it, so if you have the money, go for it and use 10 100% or 60% scrolls on it, for a wopping 51 attack and 10 dex! This bow will last you quite a few levels if you have a bow that good. I don't find it worth the time to do all the prerequests, but they do give lots of good experience. Level 30 This bow, the Ryden, is 45 attack clean. It is much better then your previous bows (with the exception of a scrolled Astaroth bow). I highly recomend scrolling this bow if you have the money, for 52 attack, unless you have a scrolled Astaroth bow in which case you can skip this weapon. Crossbow section: I recomend using a bow until level 30, BUT if your THAT MUCH into crossbows, here it goes. Level 10 Use the "archer's bow" until level 18 or level 22. Sorry. Level 12 Use the "archers bow" until level 18 or level 22. Sorry. Level 18 Use the "archers bow" until level 22, but if you really want a crossbow, go buy a Bat

No offense but, Instead of a big explanation on it, Just say ideal equips: Like at level 30: Archer top and bottom Dex BR/Sauna

I appreciate the feedback, but that is not very specific. I thought it was pretty well organized, accually. the aran who said "ugly ugly ugly" Can you specify, or were you just randomly trolling? And the last guy: Most people who are starting will not know what "get a dex br/sauna" means. You might, but most people will not. And so I explained how to get a dex bathrobe/sauna.

Maybe you could try adding a list of the equipments for each level. For example: Armor section: Level 15 - <armor name here> explanation - <armor name here> explanation ...etc... Notes: blahblahblah --- But overall, I think this looks neat.

I don't like how like.. armor and wep are in different sections. I think it would look nicer if you had Level 15 Wep Armor Level 20 Wep Armor with explanations

Add a short summary section where you just say the eq for that level.

I agree with angelwingsXx 's suggestions. Also, use more spacing. Having space between paragraphs does not hurt, it will only make reading a lot easier. So something like: Level 15 - <armor name here> explanation - <armor name here> explanation Level 20 - <armor name here> explanation - <armor name here> explanation would definitely be easier to read.

Do you even have time to buy new weapons and armor in 1st Job anymore? Those levels should whiz by. It's been a long time on my archer, but I made a Gunslinger for the Explorer Ring, so I can't imagine an Archer being much slower to train.

hm I liked it but theres always stuff to make it better ^^ cuz IF I was new to MS and I see this, I would be too lazy to read the whole thing. SO! I would recommend what those people up there says ^^ like write a name of the item, then add why its good to have those. It would also be pretty helpful to tell people where to get them and how much ^^

I just did first job really fast as a test.

Don't give explanations, just give the avg clean stats of all the equips as well as ones that are highly recommended (like z-helms). If an equip is VERY recommeded, then perhaps add a bit more.

also,,, for level 20 armor,.,, u got it wrong,,, u goto Showa town which costs 7k nd bathrobe costs 30k,,, not 20k also for lvl 20s,,, it wud be a bit hard going to showa unless they know how,,, like scroll etc
