Guide on how to avoid server lag for snipe! MMs must read!

I have been experimenting with snipe and I noticed there is a way to avoid the server lag. Using this technique I can fire a snipe after every 6 Strafes I use. So how to do it? There are 2 ways on how to do it. An easy way and a hard way. Well, first you have to find out if you can do it the easy way. Some keyboards can, some keyboards can't. It depends on your keyboard. Then how do I check if I can do it the easy way? It's easy. Pick a skill that you can not use when you are in mid-air. Try to do a jump-shoot, which is, using the attack and then jump at the same time. You simply press both buttons at the same time. If this works, you can do it the easy way. It doesn't work if both snipe and strafe are on LETTER keys (Q,W,E, etc..) So one of them should be on a non-letter key (Space, shift, etc...) How do I do it? omg tell me!111 It's simple. You press and hold the Strafe button and the Snipe button at the same time! It will cause a lot of spam in your chat box, telling you "You may not use the skill yet." Don't worry. This will just make you concentrate more on surviving and less on your chat So when you do this, it will keep firing Strafe until Snipe is available, WITHOUT SERVER LAG, then uses Snipe, and then goes back to strafe and repeats. So instead of holding ONE button, you hold TWO buttons! Isn't that interesting? How do I do it the hard way? If the jumpshoot thing doesn't work for you, you have to do this. You have to put Snipe on Ctrl, and Strafe on Alt. Now hold the right Alt button. It will keep firing Strafe and when Snipe comes available (4 seconds! not 6~8!), it uses Snipe and then goes back to Strafe, and repeats. I hope this helped! It makes bossing a lot easier! Very helpful at Anego.

The "hard way" method only works on some keyboards. Typically doesn't work on American keyboards since the right Alt key on foreign keyboards is Alt-GR. We just have another Alt.

well my gateway laptop has Alt-GR, and my last 3 laptops (one was a sony and another was Emachine) had it as well

I remember when I was holding Strafe while bossing and whenever I had to pot (while holding Strafe) Strafe would stop firing until I release the button and re-press it. Similar to BMs' Hurricane. They have to let go of Hurricane in order to pot.

I think archers get their moneys worth when they invest in an auto potion pet, seeing as we cant pot durring hurricane or pierce without being interupted.

I don't see how this eliminates server lag, it just makes use snipe instead of strafe whenever possible for you, but the server delay is preventing you from using snipe is still there.

[/quote] No, it usually sticks at the last second, it doesn't when you use this technique. The server lag will be completely gone and the cooldown will actually be 4 seconds and not like 6~8.

[/quote] My point was that you're not able to hold a skill, use something else while holding that skill and expect to let that skill continue firing. Otherwise BMs wouldn't need auto-pot because they'd just hold down Hurricane and pot whenever they get hit and never let go of Hurricane. I can Jumpshoot 100%, but this technique doesn't work at all. It only fires one strafe, then one snipe.
