Is 91 strength too high?

So yeah, I'm looking to swap out my 6 str 3 attack PAC for a 4+ atk, 6+ dex one, but that requires me to pump 6 points into strength. Would that really be worth it? I'm a level 110 ranger looking to equip my engaw. I currently have 83 strength base, with +41 strength. My dex is 483, with +88 dex. 15 strength Z helm 1 str medal(I don't want to have to rely on medals for stats, as I see a 10 atk medal coming out without any strength) 6 strength PAC 6 strength overall 3 strength shoe 5 strength belt 5 strength MoN This is the dex on my equips. 13 dex Z helm(lol) 3% dex earring 3% dex overall, +5 dex overall 2% dex shoe 5 dex MoN 1 dex medal 6 dex bow I really don't mind having a high base strength, as I could most likely compensate for % dex equips, which I'm still upgrading(3% dex shoe, possibly 4% dex earring...etc). But will having a base strength of 91 really kill my damage? o_o

Well my ranger has 70 base STR, but I recommend that you should lower it as much as possible. Oh and what bow are you using anyways or planning to use as a end game bow?

If youre gonna use % dex equips, I dont think having 91 str would really kill your damage.

91? You mean 89? Well to be honest it would lower your damage range by maybe 40 or 50 damage but it is completely free of costs so why not? Also to lower it even further you can get a STR Scar? (Still better than that ZHelm.)

I'd like to get a Scar helm, but right now all my money is down on leeching to 120. Unless I can pick one up for like 30 mil :P And I forgot to add that I'll be getting the level 120 medal that has 2 strength, but I don't want to rely on that 2 strength because I know there is going to be a 10 attack medal released soon, which has no strength.

hm well i got 59 base str and have 112 str total so ya might be worth it to cube

I don't spend money on Maplestory. The only way I would buy nx is with mesos. I don't think its worth 12 mil per cube. It could take 20+ cubes to get what I want, and I won't feel like wasting 200+ mil on a 2+% dex shoe when I could buy one for much cheaper.

I see it this way. If I were to swap out my dex overall for a strength overall, I'd take a huge hit in damage. My overall right now gives me 34 dex. If I remove that 34 dex and replace it with a 20+ strength one, that just kills my damage more than adding 20 points of strength.

well ya i probably would change the overall that is a nice one :O but i only have a clean arzuna with 6% str on it and its only like 10str gone if i take it off id take a good dex overall over the one i have any day edit: wouldnt change

Looking at the bowman damage range thread, some of them have 90 base strength and their damage looks great o_o I'll go for it.

I have 66 base str and after all these potential equipment and such my str after my equips is 137. I also mainly use dex equipment.
