| Overkill for MapleStory. It is not just about the computer, it is about your Internet connection, your distance from Nexon's servers, and Nexon's servers themselves. It is also what you are doing in the background while running MapleStory. |

| its a netbook, it is definately not overkill for maple when maple only utilizes one processor core that I know of, and its recommended to have I think at least 2.0Ghz if I remember correctly, and the fact that the screen is so small, he may also need to use a program to change his resolution so it will even work with maple |

MapleStory does not have such steep requirements, if it did that would be very surprising (especially when MapleStory isn't even verygraphically demanding). Any laptop bought at your local Best Buy or Newegg can play MapleStory without much trouble. |

| Yes, it will run fine. I used to run Maple on a Pentium 4 before I got my i7 rig. |

And also the P4 line to my knowledge includes several different core architectures. |

| As far as I know, a P4 > Intel Atom clock for clock. That may have some trouble at more populated/laggy areas. |

|
Readers : I never said the Atom processor was P4.
And you seem to have missed the point. Why bother listing a system req when you should know it's not applicable to begin with? P4 =/= Atom, therefore listing the recommended req for a P4 is pointless when you want to know whether or not an Atom can run it. |

I simply stated the recommended requirement according to Nexon's official website, which listed a 1.8 Ghz Pentium 4 processor, therefore I put that in comparison with his Atom processor. If you have any problems with that, do not come to me, go to Nexon for not stating an Atom processor. Unless you cannot read at all and refused to click the link I gave above as proof, which in this case seems to be your problem. Once again, I never said the Atom = P4. |
