Xbox 360 or PS3?

I want to get a system that I can play the Skate series on (Skate 1, 2, 3 etc.) I don't want to stat a flame war, but what are the true advantages of the system that you think I should pick?

Personally, I like the PS3, and it IS better. I have owned both and I have enjoyed both, but the PS3 is far superior. If you want to play with friends, though, get an Xbox. Skate 1 is the best Skate game, by the way.

There is no difference between Xbox Live and PSN, except that PSN is free. There is no difference in anything else. Graphics are the same, the majority of the games are the same, but in my opinion, PS3 has more exclusives that are worth checking out. Good day to you.

Now that the PS3 got a Paid Premium Online that is optional , Theres nothing that the xbox beats it at, even the PS3 new motion sensor technology is more superior then Kinect. Only thing i like about xbox is Gears of War, and it has no exclusives, if you are viewing this now, it means you can play any game thats a so called "360 exclusive"

truth is Multiplats tend to look better on the 360 (lazy developers) PS3 has free online (if your ever gonna play an online games) IMO PS3 exclusives tend to be better (IMO though so you might like 360 exclusives better and most tend to be shooters), Blu-ray has storage advantages over DVD Halo series is overhyped too much that is all for now

lol 360 is cool altho it doesnt provide the same kind of graphics a PS3 would. PS3 is good and all but the extra stuff for it are really expensive along with the games.

XBOX 360 is far more expensive since everything isn't built in. So the 360 is going to cost you a bit more.

[/quote] actually it used to be far more expensive now that the new 360 came out theres 3 difference 1.) controllers (all opinion based) 2.) exclusives (doesnt matter that most have a PC version if you dont have a good enough PC) 3.) in regards to online 360 still has more people but now if you want the few extra 360 used to have over PS3 you can buy them just like if you want to play online you need to buy XBL, YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY PSN - STILL CAN BE FREE IF YOU DONT WANT THE EXTRA FEATURES oh and Blu-ray for the most part beats DVD (except load times can be slower on Blu-ray compared to DVD) so you decide - if you cant use the PS3 controller and like the 360's exclusives (not having a good enough PC to play them on) and want to play online with a lot more people get the 360 if you can use both controllers and have a good enough PC theres almost no reason to get a 360 @ below; just reminded me PS3 also has a lower failure rate (doesnt mean your 360 will RRoD on you - mine is from xmas of 2007 and still works)

Well id say PS3 because it is a great price for: 1. Built in wi-fi 2. Free online 3. BluRay so you could watch movies on. 4. Its more reliable for long term. Now if you dont care about any of these bonuses then just flip a coin.

There is no war, the only excuse 360 fanboys have is that its got Halo which has been so over-advirtised that its not even fun anymore. Only GoW2 is good, plus Sony is was better at customer support then Microcrap.
