People who came in contact with exploited mesos were "hell banned"(can't trade,drop, or sell)

Hell Banned= The act of being banned but still being able to play the game. However there are restrictions on you're account, such as you cannot trade, party etc. You become hell banned by the act of receiving Illegitimate mesos which originated from the Leafre Donation box if you put negative mesos. People were running around with max mesos and buying things and selling them I believe (Either for more/less) either way the Maplestory Economy was getting ruined. These "hackers", were spreading these illegitimate mesos around maplestory. Nexon eventually figured out how to differentiate legitimate mesos from illegitimate mesos and became to restrict the rights of innocent and non-innocent players. So yea. Anymore questions feel free to ask. And I believe the mesos were taken out?

The 21st is when they release the hell bans, Hime posted it in the Nexon Forums

Hellban removal (hellbans from the first meso exploit) will arrive with the Dual Bladers patch on the 21st.
