Maples not working and I wanna play

kay, so I got back from a 1 month vacation and my maple doesnt work. Once I click start game, a microsoft windows thing pops up and says: Maplestory has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you a solution is avaliable. Ive tried redownloading it and its still the same thing.

Turn on User Account Control. Nexon might be bad, but I believe Windows Vista is the worst.

this happens to me when I try to start the program without goin to the internet. if u have windows 7, this will happen. just go in through the site. although, i have a new problem. My account is stuck logged in. When i try to enter the game, it says my account is logged in and kicks me out. any help guys? i redownloaded also

I would suggest instead of using the Gamelauncher you go to the website and login through that way. I have vista and ran into the same problem. You're unable to use the gamelauncher.

EDIT: Try enabling UAC (User Account Control) and running as Admin, worked for me on Vista 32bit.

Try installing it into a different directory from the one that's recommended to you.

That application gives you the option of starting the game without logging in on the website.
