Ok which kind of brand is best for gaming,

Well you can say I'm a moderate gamer looking for a cheap card since this one blew out on me (galaxy 8400 gs 256mb) yeah i know its not that great but i can run COD4 smoothly with some choppiness every time it heats up @_@, Which brand would you recommend? XFX, or Nvidia Geforce,EVGA, and another brand I forgot. Which one would last longer, and more durable, which one is more reliable, thank you ^_^

The one with the best warranty. EVGA and XFX are good, with Asus and MSI being runner ups. Nvidia and ATI are chipset manufacturers and do not sell GPUs to consumers.

As skye said, EVGA and XFX are awesome brands with great warranties as long as you register the product. I personally think the 4350 is a bit of a low end card to be honest. Where I am, you can get a 4670 for about thirty dollars more, which seems to be an okay deal, since there are quite a few other cards from XFX bridging the way across from the 4350 to the 4670. If budget is tight, of course step down a bit, but I think you would just want a little more bang for your CoD gaming. ;D

Go for a video card thats $100 and up. XFX, Asus have good warranties. EVGA, Zotac, Sapphire, MSI, GigaByte are also good brands. 4350 is very low end. You can try the ATI Radeon 5450 if you really want a video card that will play COD but is cheap. But i recommend a 9800GT (Which is $90, but will run pretty much every game out there, not at maximum though.)

note 1; the galaxy 8400gs 256mb is a low profile card , meaning the case will probably not fit something of normal size. note 2; the galaxy 8400gs is passively cooled so chances are this guy has like a 300W or less PSU. note 3; I've played COD; MW on a HD mobility 4330. If COD is what he wants to play, a 4350 is good enough. So saying he should pick up a HD 4670 or 9800GT considering all of the above seems silly to me. As well as even claiming that anything better is necessary. It would be a waste of money. Though I agree I find a HD 5450 preferable to a HD 4350.

If you are a hardcore gamer... First thing on your mind would be ailenware but since you are not... I suggest ati hd5450 as it's a pretty good chip through asus... Though if you want nvidia, go with the 9000 series not the 100x+ unless you want to spend more.

I'm a moderate gamer, and yes My comp does run on a 300w PSU, or lower?, and i get an average of 90FPS on my 8400gs on medium settings. My budget would probably be at most 40$ maybe 48$.

Get the 5570/5550 perfect for your PSU and it can run COD4/COD MW2 pretty decent on max settings

The first thing on your mind would be buying all the individual parts and building it yourself. You can get far more power for way less doing it that way. Come on now.
