I read the latest details (apparently) for the upcoming big bang patch and noticed that "improving mp recovery" is getting chucked. Is this to say that mages will have the same standard mp regeneration as all other classes, or is there some kind of new system for mage mp regen that I'm just not seeing? Obviously, I know how to chain-chug pots as well as the next guy, but I'm not exactly "rich" by any stretch of the word, so the mana pots I save from the mage's super regen is nice. Just wondering why it's apparently being thrown out. Keep in mind that I'm pretty new to this game, so if there's something obvious that I'm just not seeing, please keep the flames down to a civil level. Thanks!

No. I believe that mages will have the mp regen and increased mp skill built into the character already once you choose the path of a mage because they are going to add new skills I believe. I'm not 100% sure just going from what I remember reading.

MP recovery is sort of useless, to be honest. I don't even notice my mp regeneration, thats how small the amount is.

I'd rather have it than not, that's for sure. My mana barely goes down, if at all when I use Teleport for travelling across maps. When I'm on my Blaze Wizard, I definitely notice the lack of it and it annoys me. I didn't read about any skill specified to replace it, but I'm hoping it will be built into the mage classes. Maybe they'll have a formula which is determined by your level and INT? I don't know.
No, thats not what I'm saying. When I'm training at kents, constantly ice-striking, teleporting, cb-ing and in general recieving touch damage, a little regen of 100mp doesnt make a difference. This is MY perception of it, so obviously it wont be the same as yours.

Eg-warriors no longer have hp increae skill, but they still increase more hp than other classes. I assume that mages both have higher mp increase than others, as well as built in higher recovery. Who knows though. We'll have to wait and see until Jun 8.
I'm sorry to tell you sir, we are in July now. =P Sorry do this joke every time I see someone post its "June 8th" instead of "July 8th"....silly typos. @OT Best not be removing my MP recovery....Heal+MP eater+ MP recovery has saved me tons of pots... However if they make it so I get it naturally then that'd be just dandy. Save me some points for other things.

I know that. Your post still doesn't make sense though. Of course you're not going to use pots if you dont get hit. Just like how I can train my dark knight without using pots, as long as I don't get hit.

Just like how I can train my dark knight without using pots, as long as I don't get hit.
But our MP regeneration is passive, and works even whilst we're training, I don't think HP recovery for warriors works the same way. That's what he means by not using pots, because by the time he's casting spells, the mp is regenerating every now and then. To the people quoting me - THAT IS MY OPINION. Do not attack me or call me wrong for stating it. Your perception is different to mine, so lay off.
