Finally added in the auction limit increases based on Feedback. Here's how it works. If your feedback is 0-9, you get 2 buying auctions (and 8 selling), the breakdown continues: 10-24: 4 buy/16 sell 25-49: 6 50-99: 8 100-249: 10 250-499: 15 500-1000+: 20 You auction limit isn't permanent, so if your Feedback is 11 one day and 9 the next, you will lose 2 auction limit points. Also, if you dip below 0 Feedback, your auction limit is 1.

MrBasil, I'm not sure if you got my mail thingie or not, since I'm sure you get a whole heap of them and probably ignore them, but I thought I had a decent idea to get rid of most of the lame 'buying' auctions. See if you can find my message, if not, I'll post it again here.

Yeah the buying function is a good idea, but it's used by (some) stupid people. ie, buying 200 curse dolls for 1 meso, buying a panlid for 100 meso etc. Its a good idea, just needs a little tweeking to get rid of the retarded auctions(and buyers).

This thread doesn't have anything to do with getting rid of buying auctions, which I'm not interested in doing. That was an unrelated blog (not by me). The topic of this thread is the auction limit increase based upon Feedback. Thanks for keeping it on topic.

this is a great rule, but my favorite part is the negative feedback result, you can make it even better tho to make it so ppl with less than 0 feedback cant make auctions at all, they only can bid.

You cna typically tell a scammer from a legit, a scammer will have more names of one person vs a legit who will have various if the feedback level is higher enough. Some people i have bought more thne one thing from, most of the time this is an over time thing not in the same day. Yes I am one of those 45+ feedback bider/seller on here, there are several others I have even done business with. looking at our id will tell you if we are legit of a scammer.

I've banned quite a few scammers over the weeks. They're idiots if they think they can get away with it for long. Is it really worth getting a few extra positive feedbacks and risk being banned permanently from the site? I don't give second chances, you screw up, you're out for good. So if you scam and you're reading this, you've been warned. No mercy. You will be found.

and what about all unfair warnings? I got a warning becouse of an aggressive bid... know why, becouse there are lots of people who want rare items, and if you throw out a lot of money, your chance of winning is higher. and yes, that agressive bid scared of my "enemies" and now I'm lucky with my item. yeah I'm talking about my above average lvl 40 polearm and you allso know yourself that after lvl 40 it's hard to get other better weapons, so better have someting good.

Can someone tell me how do I increase my limits? Do I have to activate somewhere on this site or it is automatic? Because i am still on band 1 (feedback = 0-9, 2 buying auctions and 8 selling) when i am already in band 2 (10-24: 4 buy/16 sell) Thks

I believe it is also affected by negative/neutral feedback... I didn't get the increase until I got my 11th Positive feedback due to some undeserving negative feedback I received(Total = 12 Feedback, 11 positive 1 negative = 10?).
