Today I have aggresively started scanning auctions, bids and feedback for scamming. As a result, some users have already been permanently banned. Many others have gotten warnings. Those of you who've gotten warnings, consider it a final one -- next time you will be banned. Feedback, bids and auctions that are suspicious will be immediately deleted from the site. Ask yourself -- is it worth getting banned permanently just to get a few Positive feedback points?

Can you please set up a forum just for your news announcements which only you can start threads in (we can all reply to though)? Its nice to have a place where we can see what all has changed. If were away for a while we may miss an annoucement and not be able to use one of the cool new features :D EDIT: oh yea, back on topic, Thanks for keeping this place working so well. Its easy. YOu start an auction, have a friend bid on it, have them immedialy win that auction, have each other give positive feedback, repeat. It's a dirty little trick, and some people are just low enough to do it. Thank you Mr Basil for your hard work on fixing these problems. You are a good good man.

mrbasil, what about when you complete an additional trade with someone whose auction you completed on basil. Is it o.k. to do a quick auction on that trade? What do other people think, is that a scam?

To "amp": auctions are binding,even when i sell something for a lower than market price and i know i can sell it higher and the guy isn't on and i wnna sell it allready, i wait till he buys it.it's just a fair thing to do.

To "mashimello": I understand that auctions are binding, you did not address my question. "Question" - is it a scam to perform a real trade in maple, and then after the trade is done do an auction on basil? If you don't have anything topical to say, then don't say anything at all.

I will say it is scaming since the product you are buying in addition is there and then and never made it on the acctually site. For instance I won an auction for 20 dark gems, I bought them thne the guy was like hmmm would you like 3 more. because thats a spur of the moment trade to tell him to post an auction for it would be a way to take advantage of the system. So i would consider it scamming to post something that you just traded for to get good feedback even thoguh it wasn't throguh the auction and you were already talking with the person.

Hi, Id actualy like to report a scamming user, bid for selling me his Icicles, tracked him down talk to him so he just logged off. The user finalabout isn't selling me his Icicles after he bid for them, he didnt even message me. (By the way, I was Buying the Icicles)

Just asking , coz i am new how does this warning look like? Is it the yellow part before u bid saying that all bids are agresively checked or u get a mail saying that u are being watched O.o

well, technically we CANT stop pple from doing, that, even if its illegal, its not a crime until they get caught, which by then will be too late

What about this: I start an auction cos i need to buy something. However im also bidding on another auction for that thing. I got reason to start my own auction becos theres a price limit for me when im going to buy stuff and im not sure i will win auction. Then i won auction, so i closed mine and the seller closed his. Is it a scam? IMO I dont think its a scam, although it only involve 1 items but actually there ARE 2 auctions happening at the same time.
