My Mom is driving me crazy

All i do is try my best and try to make my mom happy. I always listen to her from doing somthing right now or doing it 1 hour later, I get it done. I get 4.0's, once I got a 3.8 this year and yells and me, grounds me, and becomes a complete hypocrite. My brother always gets 2.0~3.0s does she do anything no. I take gymnastics, I wanna quit, but my mom already bought this camp thing for it. So then instead of quiting and still going to it. She complains how much it cost and tells me to stay in gymnastics till the camps over. Which waste even more money staying in gymnastics paying monthly fees, when I'm gonna quit after anyways. She complains I lay around all day if I quit gymnastics, but I work out doing a routine every day of hard conditioning,right when I wake up, and I'm taking cross country in the fall, track in spring. God, she ticks me off so much. Sorry had to rant this off.

well my dad think i don't do my homework and play game on computer all days but i do my homework at class since i got spare time -.- and i got good grade too

Is your brother younger than you? If he is she would expect that you set an example like my mother. Its really hard i understand that. Just know there are people like you that share the same problem :D

I wanna quit life..... not really. But I want a social life, thats why I'm quiting. Gymnastics 6 days a week means no social life with friends

Yea and my brother is twice as tall as me and is like 3 years older than me? I have plenty of friends its just you don't want to be the guy not going to parties, dates, going and having fun time.

Youre mom sees potential in you and doesn't want you to lose that. I had the same thing. They gave up on my bro but always had me trying my best. Didn't work out cause I didn't realize why they grounded me more on grades...

My parents are exactly like that, except I'm 24. Even now I've moved out of the house they call me to ask me how the "uni" is doing (they picked English studies for me) and if I've been to Karate tonight. -sigh- They never got the type of education they could handle (my mother's family was old fashioned, my father has ADD) so they want the best for me and the best of me. They mean well, but.... Well, your mother probably means well too, but maybe she doesn't keep in mind what YOU want.
