I just yell at them. Me: "WHY DO YOU CALL ME AT 8AM FOR? YOU KNOW WHAT TIME I SLEPT LAST NIGHT? 4 AM! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF SOMEONE WOKE YOU UP FOR NO GOOD REASON AT 8AM WHEN YOU SLEPT AT 4? HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? WANT ME TO CALL YOU EVERYDAY AT 8AM?" Telemarketer: "Sorry to bother you sir. You will be removed from our call list now. Please give 48-72 hours for confirmation and a call to confirm that you have been removed from our call list." *The next day* Telemarketer calls again. Rinse and repeat.

I've run into a few of those stubborn guys before. I just say "You do realize I'm on the Do Not Call registry right? Can I speak to your manager right now? I'm thinking of taking you guys to a court. They know how annoying you guys are." Even though I can't really take them to court for this kind of stuff, they hang up because they get scared.
