To many processes in Task Manager

So I opened up my task manager to figure out why my laptop is starting to heat up and I realized that I have 70ish processes running and some of them I have no idea where they came from. Here's some SS's of some of the processes that are currently running on my laptop, anyone have any idea which ones to get rid of and if there's a program to help me get rid of the ones that I don't need. My CPU is also at 100% usage which is sorta dumbfounding me. Some specs 1 2 3 4 5

dam thas a lot of processes o-o atm i have about.... 20 - 30 on my laptop. Also i'm not good with which are needed / not needed so you're gonna have to find someone else :O i can post an ss of mine tho? if ya want.

Most processes that run usually come from programs that run upon start-up or casually run while on. It may come from downloads, installed programs, etc. Your best solution would be to filter out all the applications you no longer use (either by uninstalling or 'terminating') and look at it again and if it hasn't improved by a margin, your next feat should be to isolate what each one does (as some will temporarily mess up your computer to the point of needing to reboot).

I have 16 right now. If you're the ordinary person (occasional gaming, word processing, instant messaging, watching some videos, etc.) The most should be 30. However, some computer manufacturers' computers come with pre-installed crap that may be essential to the well being of your machine. If you think yours is one of them, I'd say 50 is the MAX. Another exception is if you have any other users logged on to your computer with processes running. In your ss(s), the ones that say "Stopped" don't really count...

Hmm, look at this guide and start from there. As well as find out what is taking up your most of your CPU usage and act accordingly. Btw, the 72 processes that is running is display in "Processes" tab not the "Service" one, which I believe the guide talk about that as well. Also, this thread suppose to be in the Non-MS Tech section.
