Rate My Computer

OS- Windows 7 64 Bit, Ubuntu Processor- Intel i7 980x Motherboard- Asus Rampage III Extreme Graphics Card- Radeon 5970 HD for main, 480x for PhysX RAM- 4GB DDR3 2000 (I am worried about the RAM, i had to cut back due to my $3,000 limit) HD- Western Digital 1.5TB 7200 RPM SSD- 30GB (for booting OS) PSU- 1200W (this machine takes up a lot of power) Those are the main components. I will be installing a water cooling system. I am mainly worried about my RAM, but I can always upgrade later. This computer is not overclocked yet but will be once I install the WC.

On mine, I have a an i7 860 and my Raedon video card is 1 step down, but I have 8 GB of DDR mem ... It only cost me $1100 hmmm... what to do with my left over $1900? ... I guess I could buy a second one and a new iPhone or something lol

But actually, I think that it's a good lesson. Since it will be outdated in 5 years, that's like what 500 down the drain each year at the least? Plus electricity bill that's not counted in. Anyways, I don't understand why basil lets you say bastard, but has the weirdest word filter. Anyways, it's a 8/10 because you didn't specifically say rate it in which way, so I'm assuming you mean over all the computers, and I'm pretty sure there are way better computers than that... yup

LOL, if we can gather his purpose is anything high end, especially gaming, I would say 3. The G92 core came out around 3 years ago ( 8800GT, 512MB 8800GTS, 9800GT, etc ) and thats considered mid range at best now ( among enthusiasts of course ). Technology moves fast, and the more time passes, the faster technology grows.

Just rating the parts would be too easy. Tell me what you need that computer for.

$3000 limit... i really hope that's not for maplestory :/ i just custom built my comp for $387, not including reusing my 4670 and 320 gb hdd here's the parts anyway, athlon II X4 635 (2.9 ghz but i overclocked to 3.2) cheap raidmax 500w power supply msi 770T-c45 motherboard 2gb ddr2 gskill ram (can run at 1066, but overclocks better when put at 800) and i got a used antec 900 from a store for $100, came with a DVD drive and a windows XP pro license, good deal :P
