These are the parts for it: Processor Motherboard 120mm Fan,i'll need 2 of these fans Graphics Card RAM 80mm Fan Case Power Supply Hard Drive CD/DVD Drive Windows 7 64-bit This is supossed to be a gaimg computer, and i'm not sure if i should get a 32 or 64bit OS. EDIT: This is gonna be my first time building a computer in my life

You will most likely going to get 4GB of RAM, so you would need to get a 64-bit OS. Also, just get 4GB for now. If you ever need more, upgrade it then. And yeah, get the i5-750. It's in the same price range and better.

1) You should get a higher end CPU if you want to get an ultra-high end graphics card. Perhaps a i5/i7, or the Phenom X6. 2) I would swap out the GTX480 for a HD5870. It's $150 cheaper, and performs just nearly as well as the GTX480. (maybe better in some cases) 3) You don't need 8GB of RAM. 4GB would be more than sufficient if you're running dual-channel, and 6GB if running triple-channel. (you can easily settle for 3GB) You could also choose cheaper RAM, as there isn't a significant impact on performance by getting higher-end RAM. 4) Get a better case . Running an ultra-high end rig in a budget case does not work. You need good airflow, and sufficient room for all your components. I suggest the CM690 II or Coolermaster Scout. (personal favorites) 5) You're missing a CD/DVD drive, and an OS. There are quite a few technical differences between 32-bit and 64-bit OSes, but the major difference to consumers would be the RAM limit. A 32-bit OS is physically limited to 4GBs of addressable memory, whereas a 64-bit OS can support an immense amount of addressable memory. 2^64-1 bytes to be exact.

You could just get this combo deal instead, in place of the case, CPU, mobo, PSU, RAM and HDD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.390742 That CD/DVD drive looks great. Also, more fans =/= better airflow. It is better to have a few well placed fans, than a ton of randomly placed fans. I'd say 4 case fans would be the max, or else the noise would get annoying. Most mid-range cases come pre-installed with 2 or 3.

[/quote] You can put more than 4GB on a 32-bit OS, but it not going to fully utilize it and end up being a waste of money. Btw, the 4GB includes the memory of your graphic card, so you would want to get a 64-bit OS anyways.

Like most have been saying, I think you should get a better case. The CM690 is a good option but I think it looks butt ugly (IMO) and I recommend the Antec 900/1200 due to its monstrous airflow I see you like LED fans, in that case, invest in a case (WOW LOL) that will probably showcase(x2) those fans well. The GTX 480 is a nice card and w/o a doubt the fastest single gpu on the market but I would go with the 5870 if you are on a budget and maybe use that money towards a more expensive CPU + heatsink If you have the $$ though, definitely upgrade the cpu and keep the GTX480, its a beast of a card for gaming and folding The combo deal above looks nice

Personally, I don't think you should get an AMD processor. I suggest you switch it out (along with a compatible motherboard) for a i7 920/930 (offers more performance for a lower price), or a i5 750 if you want to save some money.

[/quote] i wouldn't recommend socket 1366 since tri ch ram really isn't helpful... i'd probably say a socket 1156 i7
