UPDATE: 5/13/10 Fixed Several discrepancies in AP builds and SP builds and edited some training areas. UPDATE: 5/14/10 Added Weapon Types in Equipment section and edited some training spots. UPDATE: 5/15/10 Added Armor Types in the Equipment Section. Due to a lack of up-to-date guides of this nature, and the removal of Readers Guide from BasilMarket (which was great, in my opinion), I have decided to make this. If you reference this guide, please give credit to me and/ or to any contributing authors. This guide may only be posted on BasilMarket.com. If you wish to post this guide in full or in part on any other site, you must obtain my permission first. This is a Guide to all Jobless Characters, including: Beginners, Noblesse, Legends, and Evanginners. I am by no means perfect, so if you see any errors, or you would like to contribute in some way, please feel free to PM me or post a comment correcting me or detailing your contribution and/or thoughts. Constructive criticism is both welcomed and encouraged. All ideas will be taken into serious consideration. This guide does not address Islanders, Roadies, Campers, or other stranded forms of play. There are several excellent guides covering these types of jobless characters. Correction on mobs: It's level 50 and 100 for legend and noblesse (and also level 120 for noblesse gives a mount as well as 150 and 200 for legend, but don't plan on seeing anyone on those levels any time soon)

I thought Noblesse were only able to get the first mount, but I haven't reached level 70 with mine so maybe they do. Anyway,I think it's about time we had an up to date guide. I dislike all of the stickied ones now, though I'd like to see Readers' guide back up. Some extra notes: ~ Legends start our hitting two monsters and every twenty levels, one more monster is added. (ex. Level 20 - Hits three monsters, Level 40 - Hits four monsters, Level 60 - Hits Five monsters) ~ It's probably important to note than Evan-ginners need to be smuggled out of the farm. ~ For the avoid-ability build, you wouldn't want to waste points on DEX. LUK gives a certain amount of accuracy and with equipment you will have more than enough accuracy so the DEX isn't needed.

It'd be nice if you put links in your Table of Contents referring to different sections of your guide. For a "comprehensive" guide (I assume a simplified version), it looks good so far. It'd be better for me to evaluate it if other sections of the guide were available, then I can comment further.
Alyssaur : I dislike all of the stickied ones now, though I'd like to see Readers' guide back up.
As for the status of my guide, I'm still updating it, but no updated version so far exists on any other website. It's just a hassle to separate everything into more topics again, because now I think it exceeds the BasilMarket post limit three times.

As for your comment on random defames, I never receive random defames, only random fames. You don't have to be extremely lucky to get into pq's, and ppl are glad to keep you around if your at least doing some kind of work and not just sitting. Also be the pq leader makes it easier to get into pq's as well. As for getting kicked from pq's I've only really noticed that with CPQ2 and thats mainly due to my inability to stay alive and fight. Also I believe Nimble Feet/Agile Body have different times and speed types. Like +12 speed for 20 sec's for one and +20 speed for 12 sec's for another.

(I guess Galicia is a nicer server.) That is why he said you "may" get randomly defamed. As for your Nimble Feet + Agile Body comparisons, you are correct. I didn't notice that in the first place. Level 1 Agile Body uses 4 MP, gives 10 speed for 4 seconds, level 2 uses 7 MP, 15 speed for 8 seconds.
LittleTLK : • High Avoid Build: 2 Str 2 Dex and 2 Luk per Level. Or, 3 Str 1 Dex and 2 Luk per level. Some who follow this path may cap their Luk or Dex at some point, and add Str afterwards. The reasoning behind this build is to increase survivability by not getting hit, rather than taking very little damage (as a High Defense Build would). Scroll for Str and Weapon Attack, or Luk and Dex for more avoid.
** A high-luk noblesse is an EXPERIMENTAL build, and has yet to be tested thoroughly, therefore the effectiveness has yet to be proven. All builds are in theory, until Miss Alyssaur provides me with how her high-luk noblesse goes ** ** Another note, high-luk/avoid build is completely useless for beginners/Legends. It's only an understandable build for noblesse due to the 1 extra AP. You can do it on a beginner, but it's defeats the purpose.** For the high-avoid noblesse, I'd like to mention a few things. There's no need for dex in the build. It serves no purpose except a wasted point that could give avoid. All of the accuracy you require comes from the luk. Luk gives 0.8 points of avoid, and 0.5 point in accuracy. Seeing as you are a noblesse, you get 6 AP per level, a total of 70 extra AP by level 70 when compared to a beginner. Meaning at a base luk of 70 and rest into str you will have a base accuracy of 43, or the equivalent of 53 base dex. You will also high a base avoid of 61. **Note: The following is made with the assumption that the player is level 70, and already has the 70 extra AP. Miss rates are based off monsters that noblesse/beginners would NORMALLY train on.** Now that I've went over why dex is obsolete for a high-avoid noblesse, I'd like to go into the proper types of builds for one: A luk cap of 70, and a luk cap of 100. (capping in between doesn't really benefit the noblesse, I'll go into that later) With a luk cap of 70, you will be at a base accuracy of 43, and a base avoid of 61. This is the watered down version of a high-luk noblesse while providing a moderate amount of avoid. Your damage will be that of a dexless beginner, your accuracy will be that of a normal-dex beginner, and a moderately over average avoid (a miss rate of around 15-20%). I don't really recommend this, but it is a viable option. Now for the true high-luk noblesse build. This is where the experimental part of the high-luk noblesse really comes in. With a 100-cap for luk, you will have put your extra 70 noblesse AP into luk, and an added 30 luk. This provides a base accuracy of 58, and a base avoid of 82. With this, you will have the damage of a 30 dex beginner (because of the 30 extra points after the 70 from being a noblesse), you will have the accuracy of a 72 dex beginner, and an avoid that has about a 20-30% miss rate. This build provides a balance between accuracy, damage, and avoid. This is the TRUE high-luk build. For equips, you would use a simple sauna robe scrolled for luk, seeing as a sauna robe has a base avoid of +10. You t

It'd be best to use a dex scrolled shoe (0.5 avoid), a dagger scrolled for attack (adds luk), dex wg (0.5 avoid), a zhelm or luk targa helmet, a luk maple shield (+1 avoid base on maple shield), luk earrings, etc etc. If any part was too difficult to understand or vague, just tell me and I'll be glad to clari
LittleTLK : Thank you for the clarification. I'll change it~
Oh, and for advantages/disadvantages for high-luk noblesse, you could have umm: Pros: When monsters miss on you, there is no knockback, whereas when you take 1 damage from high def, you get knockback. It can potentially speed up training by a small margin. High accuracy with high damage. Cons: Expensive Can't scroll equips for def, so when you DO actually get hit (if ever), you will take a moderate sum of damage. A little complex.

I hope your aware that Noblesse get almost 1/2 the AP as every other jobless (670 as noblesse vs. 1,000 as beginner/legend/evanginner) and adding LUK to them would be making an already weaker class even weaker. The only reason CK can compete w/ all the less AP is because their more powerful skills however, Noblesse have no skills. The fact you have so much less AP kinda makes you a little crazy for wasting what little AP you do have into LUK. On my Legend I have a similar build where my base DEX is 2x my lvl, my base LUK is equal to my lvl, and rest is into STR and I have near 300avoid. The Avoid build works for all jobless classes, not just Noblesse. Btw, amazing guide so far! o_o

I really wish I could combine Parts 1 and 2 together. :/ kinda annoying having them as two separate threads. @randm: Very few jobless characters even make it to Lv 120. Noblesse may only be able to get that far, but really, after that point, leveling up is pretty dang hard.

Obviously a Knights of Cygnus at MAXIMUM LEVEL will have less AP than an Adventurer at MAXIMUM LEVEL. I hope you're aware that neither beginner or noblesse has reached maximum level without leeching. Statistically you are correct in that noblesse have a less AP grand total compared to a beginner, but you fail to think of it realistically. In reality, no noblesse or beginner will ever reach such high levels, and majority of people fail to reach even level 70. So REALISTICALLY noblesse does end up with more AP than a beginner, because neither the noblesse or beginner will reach 120+ without leech. It's completely illogical to think of it in terms of max level, when no one will reach those levels. Alyssa, the highest level non-leech beginner, hasn't even hit level 120. Much less 200. (You'll get there soon Alyssa :D) 2. If point #1 didn't explain why this is illogical, then I'll go into depth. Seeing as no one has, or will (except Alyssa, yay :D) reach level 120 with neither a beginner or noblesse, a noblesse has more AP, and therefore will have more damage. Now, a high-luk noblesse will obviously have less damage than a normal dex noblesse build. However, compared to a beginner, they will have the same damage as a low-dex beginner, and the same accuracy as a high-dex beginner. They are NOT weaker, and WILL be stronger than a beginner. 3. I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about permanent noblesse and beginners, I had no idea skills played a part in it... Anyways, I'll say it again: when comparing permanent noblesse and beginners together, noblesse has more AP than a beginner. Remember, no one has or will (except Alyssa) hit level 120+ without leech. If you're planning on leeching, then of course it makes sense to be a beginner. However, everyone else will not hit level 120+. 4. Sure, you can make it for other jobless classes, but what's the point? You'll suffer a large damage reduction and accuracy reduction. It would be even further useless if you plan on being a polearm legend, due to the already lowered damage. If you want to do it on a non noblesse you can, however, it's true usefulness is only available through noblesse and their

GunDelHelTwo things I can point out right now.. Add "Most beginners don't make it past 120 regardless" to Noblesse's pros list. And take in account that the lack of Dex hurts the High-Avoid Noblesse's damage. It might not be noticeable just talking about it--but Dex can make a significant difference.
