| UPDATE: 5/13/10 Fixed Several discrepancies in AP builds and SP builds and edited some training areas. UPDATE: 5/14/10 Added Weapon Types in Equipment section and edited some training spots. UPDATE: 5/15/10 Added Armor Types in the Equipment Section. Also, combined the Parts into one thread, making navigation easier. Due to a lack of up-to-date guides of this nature, and the removal of Readers Guide from BasilMarket (which was great, in my opinion), I have decided to make this. If you reference this guide, please give credit to me and/ or to any contributing authors. This guide may only be posted on BasilMarket.com. If you wish to post this guide in full or in part on any other site, you must obtain my permission first. This is a Guide to all Jobless Characters, including: Beginners, Noblesse, Legends, and Evanginners. I am by no means perfect, so if you see any errors, or you would like to contribute in some way, please feel free to PM me or post a comment correcting me or detailing your contribution and/or thoughts. Constructive criticism is both welcomed and encouraged. All ideas will be taken into serious consideration. This guide does not address Islanders, Roadies, Campers, or other stranded forms of play. There are several excellent guides covering these types of jobless characters. | I guess I don't consider myself a "Very high leveled jobless player", but I've played on my beginner for long enough, so some of my advice is.... Do it for the fun! I've honestly been at level 61 for months now, I think since...December? But I haven't been bored at all with Maple. Don't make a Jobless character just to get to the high levels and look awesome (Although it IS a little added bonus), do it because it's fun. You won't be leveling 3 times a day, so don't plan on it, at least in the higher levels, unless of course you leech (which is many times frowned upon). I have more fun hanging out with my beginner friends just messing around than I ever had grinding on my old Jobbed players. If you really NEED to level, one of the better ways is to Monster Card Hunt/train with other beginners. And......as far as I'm concerned, don't buy a Tuna. |

| Generally I go: 10-15 Pigs 15-20 Octopus 20-25 Mushroom Mini-dungeon 25-30 Subway PQ 30-40 Quest 40-50 LPQ, Drumming Bunnies Then I would recomend: 50-60 Rotting Skeletons 60-70 Nightmares 70-80 Truckers 80-90 Voodoos 90-110 Voodoos, Wind Raiders 110-120 Wind Raiders, Goby (Maybe) 120+ Wind Raiders, Goby, Wolf Spiders (I hope) Also, despite having not having a Zakum Helmet or a high-DEX build yet, I can train at Nightmares just fine with my Legend so I'm not so sure their training spots will really deviate that much from the other jobless builds. Granted I'm using a clean Blood Board over a 100%ed Japanese Map, but still... I think we were just to quick to rule out the mobbing as a valid means of training. |

[/quote] The guide wasn't intended to tell you where to train, but to suggest where training may be most efficient. Does the language seem commanding? That was never my intention. I'll add something near the top clarifying that. |

 | Noblesse can start Sand Rats in their 20s, assuming they have the accuracy. No need to wait until 30. Even if it takes a few hits to kill, the speed of the Sand Rats and well-to-maneuver map keeps them from having to travel often, which in theory would give a better XP rate than fighting for a KPQ party or having to run to the bottom of Ant Tunnel to keep the spawn going. Also, STDs provide a nice alternative for Noblesse in their early 50s if they're having trouble with Dead S'crows or Primitive Boars. Also, Primitives boars and Dead S'crows around roughly the same Hp/XP wise, Dead S'crows being a tad bit harder with more HP and Primitive Boars being an empty map and not having any Magic Attacks. |

| Here's my advice to anyone trying to make a Beginner: -Don't worry about damage or getting godly gear UNLESS your jobbies need/use them. Many of my equips are shared between my jobbed characters, such as my DEX earring, Strength PAC and Bathrobe, Work Gloves, Yellow Snowshoes, and Deputy Star. Buying such items PURELY for your Beginner is not recommended except for a weapon and possibly other cost-effective items, such as a nice set of defense clothes. -I found trying to consistently OHKO weaker enemies is faster training than going after bigger enemies. For instance, when I was level 51-64, I hunted Sand Rats using a Super Snowboard and at the time a range of about 150-1200. I could hunt 100-125k EXP an hour on normal EXP compared around 60-70k at things like Drumming Bunnies, Sakuras, etc. -If you EVER get sick of level grinding obsessively, try taking a break and play one of your jobbed characters for a while. If possible, hook up with other Beginners. -Try hunting for monster cards. To be honest at my level, I only get 1% or so less an hour (about 22k EXP) monster card hunting than obsessively grinding. That and it's much more fun. -In the low levels, don't bother getting godly weapons, it's simply not worth it. When you're getting towards end-game weapons (around level 60-70) I suggest trying to find or scroll the best weapon you can. -Beginners DO NOT need funding contrary to popular belief. Even with super funding, it won't matter enough to make a huge impact on your damage. Beginners around my level with 100%'ed weapons can do reasonably comparable damage. -Take advantage of what you have. Why waste mesos on return scrolls when you can just get killed at no cost? Why not capitalize on your great DEF formula and laugh while Stone Golems do 1 damage to you and 200+ to everyone else. |

As far as I know, Evanginners can't do the Mushroom Kingdom quests. Or so I was told from many. |
