What's so hot about useing Polearm.

So i was just curious, how exactly do Dk's train more efficiently by becoming a Hybrid and useing Polearms? What are the advantage of useing a Polearm, instead of useing a spear? In what ways is it faster to train by means of useing a Polearm?

PAs do better slashing damage and Spears deal better stabbing damage, because of the slash/stab ratio and crush and fury are both moves that are fixed on which type of strike they make. Hybrid will do best in both areas because they will go for PA fury (which is forced slash) and Spear Crusher (forced stab) so they can deal the best potential damage with both areas. Fury has the advantage of being quicker, have a larger range, and can hit more targets than crusher. in many of the amazing training spots for 3rd job, like himes, benefit most from using Fury as an attack since the mobs are normally of groups from 4~8.
