Football VS Rugby

Today i was arguing with some guy called NoDexNinjaa. We was free winning with each other, then we get into a big argument about how he thinks all Americans are uneducated and being real stereotypical just cause I didn't know who are the prime ministers of Australia. After that he tells me how NFL football are soft compared to Rugby because NFL has to wear armour. If there wasn't any armour to be used in the NFL which sport would be more dangerous and hard hitting. NFL or Rugby? Let me know your opinions Edit: I wanna know which is more dangerous. Rugby or Football WITHOUT any protection

that would be the minimum damage. some people would die from getting hit with a baseball. Hockey is also dangerous. back on topic please :D

Despite having more padding, I would say football because the hits are a lot harder and you're more likely to get blindsided.

Rugby is far more dangerous. Bust just think about it, if most football players played rugby with those other guys they would dominate no problem.

Well im a football player myself so i might be a little biased but ill try not to be. Rugby everybody is kind of moving together and everyone is really large. Yes they tackle each other but often at less speed. Football many safetys and linemen are looking forward to HURTING the person they are about to tackle. Its not a tackle its more of an "im an angry person so im going to kill you because i can and ill slay the ref if he says anything" type intention. Also look at how many injuries result from football WITH our pads. Again i dont know the game of rugby too well other than the basic rules so i have no idea on the injury rates.

Also the reason why NFL has armour is because the tackles are real hard and if you see a running back without its armour, they'll run real fast because the armour weights quite a lot
