Has anyone heard of / played this game? It was closed beta for a long time but they just made it open beta, I'm downloading it right now. Trailer It is supposed to be almost exactly like DoTa but with better graphics and no limitations, at least from what i've read.

Open beta began yesterday or a few days ago. And yes, HoN is a remake of the original DotA, with superior graphics and effects, although I do believe balancing is still needed for a few OP heroes such as Zephyr, and Chronos.

i think hon is better than both lol and dota, although i haven't tried lol yet. anyways hon is pretty fun, but nearly everyone on there in closed beta was an elitist prick.

I've played DotA for 3-4 years now, and you seem like one of those typical "oh lulz im an old dota player and i hate new stuff!" Icefrog (inheritor of dota) stated himself allowed them to create a remake, and also endorsed the game. It's a great game with much potential that contains superior graphics and gameplay that the WC3 engine could not display. It also added on some nice things as well as ratings, an anti-leave system and reconnect system. The only thing I can complain right now is the balancing of heroes.
