Hiding Maple (Run in Background)

Hey basilers, I FINALLY got a store permit (90 days) so I'm ready to start selling some stuff, unfortunately, when you log off the store doesn't stay up. So I figured I could just keep it open, eat some stuff, hang out, and do my homework and stuff. But my mom says I can only keep the game open for 30-1 Hr a day, I tried explaining that I wont play it, nor can I (because if I wanted to play I would have to clsoe the store), but she says its the thought of it being opened -_- Soooo I was wondering if anyone knew a way to put it (Maplestory) in the background (at the right of your taskbar in small icons, or in the "show hidden icons" section.) Like when downloading the game MSdownloaderV.xx (Pando Media Booster)m how when you clicked the "dot" it would run in background. Does anyone know how to do this on Win. 7? I have tried many things like: Hide Win. WinHide HyperHide ClickyGone MagicTray WindowMimimizer and some other stuff. P.S, its not that my parents don't trust me, but when its open and I'm studying, I might take a 1 seconds pee at it, which is bad enough, I don't want the first 18 Mill I've ever had to go to waste. so if someone knew how to run it in background, that would be greatly appreciated =D

try double desktop? its like you have two screens one desktop can be your working one and you can switch to the other and open up maple there its kinda like running two accounts at the same time without needing to log off

@HaruYosh Yeah, but the thing about that is that it would still appear in the taskbar right? (the giantic thing with big icons at the bottom of the screen on Win. 7)

Yep... I have two screens... I do my homework on one while I leave my store open on the other... that way I can peek and turn off my other screen uber fast... Lol But if your parents go on the computer it's easily figure-out-able no matter what program you use... I sometimes alt-tab while in my store... that hides the screen, but if they click the maple icon on the bottom it reopens... unless u hide the task bar on the bottom with the screen res or something...

Easy fix bro. When you have everything in your store and your ready to go afk hit alt and esc togather ( hold down alt and press esc ) then right click on the task bar and click properties and check the box that says "auto-hide task bar" then click apply then click ok ( the task bar is the bar at the bottom if you didnt know :P) ~Have fun~ Edit : Then pull up something educational on the screen to make your parents seem like nothing is really there. (Trust me my parents are just like yours this is fool proof) If this is happening in your room i suggest having a closed door so you have enough time to close it by the time they get in.

Same with me. All i do is Cntrl-Alt-Enter All at once when maple is opened. Then maple goes to window mode. After windowed mode I open another window showing a educational website which blocks them from seeing Maple and all they see is the website. Good Luck!

just do this make a new user and make it adminstrative and open maplestory on ur new one with ur account open shop then dont log off js switch user to u reg user and its like nothings there and yes ms will still be open i does it all zee time :D

@AranKite, KK I'll try the double screen thing. @TheSinKitty I do use autohide, but sometimes my mom comes in and tells me to open everything, so I have to go the the taskbar, and then she'll see the Maple Icon @Announcement(Cool IGN)....All my homework is on the computer, I go to a technology/computer school. @fatch2u4 I mean when I'm actually playing on the taskbar it shows up.

No, the easiest way is to press the window key. (If your on a comp designed for windows you probably have it somewhere). If you press it you should go to the desktop and the start menu pops up. If that doesnt work, ctrl alt del and open up the process thingy. Once that's up, right click on the task bar and click "Show Desktop" Now you should be at your desktop. Now, all you have to do is get a bot that will hide the process. But that's considered hacking so sorry, thats all i got.

[/quote] Dude if they are that bad >_< you need to gain their trust that they dont need to open up the task bar thats just sad ( in my opinion). Get good grades, gain there trust, and follow my previous advice~ ( i edited it)
