Mac Crashes every 20seconds

OMFG this is giving me this sh#!s My Mac sounds like its loading a CD, then "turns off" and goes quiet for around 5 seconds, then it comes back on to where i was... then this just happens every 10 to 15 seconds...WHY IS IT DOING THIS? I CANT DO ANYTHING ON IT AND ITS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING! If you got something that will contribute to the problem, thankyou. But please, to the flamers and the pathetic kids saying "Macs suck" or "Whyd you get a mac, they are useless" dont even bother, i really cant deal with you right now Thankyou. Please help

Quite honestly, if sounds like your hard drive may have failed completely. Have you tried putting in your original OS Disc, booting from it, and using the Disk Utility to check the status of the disk? Edit: If this doesn't work, you should head to the nearest Apple Store. If your computer is under warranty, or you have AppleCare they should take care of the issue under warranty. If it's not, diagnostic services are always free at least, so you'll be able to find out what exactly is the problem at least.

Maybe you should ask this in a real computer forum instead of in a MapleStory one. Kind of odd to ask for help here. Ask where people else where on the internet for better answer.

It is out of warranty but as the Initial HD Failure occured within the Warrnty, The "HD Problem" is still in warranty, as they have yet to fix it. Apple can just die....so What now...Dell? Alienware? cause im deffinantly not getting another Mac [/quote] They do replace faulty products, and warranty is extended for repairs performed during the warranty period. If this extended period has passed, you may be out of luck, but, going in to an Apple Store is your best bet. If you don't, you'll never know. One friend of mine had their screen fixed out of warranty for free for some odd reason I can't exactly recall.
