Switching to dexless aran?

Well hello there, I'd like to start by saying I am a level 110 dk that is extremely bored of the same old thing. I was thinking about making a dexless aran here are the items I already have please vote if I should or not. 9 dex earrings 8 dex shoes 20 dex 21 acc zhelm 18 dex 9 acc overall 10 dex 2 att pac 11 attk SCG Please tell me if making a dexless aran is a good idea. thanks.

If you plan to equip an Arcglaive I'd say go 15-20 Base Dex. Since being Dexless you'd either have to wait till 120 (HT Pendant) or use inefficient equips like a Dex Cape. If you plan to use a Reverse Diesera as your end-game then go Dexless, you easily have the equips for it.

I don't know a whole lot about weapons right now... so I'll just go dexless and add it if needed.

He's only talking about that because that's all he knows. I've seen that same thing posted over and over again in other threads. OT: Yeah make your dexless aran, you worry about dex later on, because if you're funded at all, you should have no problem reaching the required dex for the few warrior equips that actually require dex.

[/quote] Even if you are funded it won't be easy to equip an Arcglaive efficiently w/ 4 Dex. You most likely will have to resort to getting Dex equips where you could have just put Str/Att/Speed defeating the purpose of going Dexless (Example: Dex Shoes, Dex Cape, Dex Belt). I would still start out Dexless though and when you get close to level 100 you can decide on your end-game weapon and see if you need to add dex or not (Or you could do what I'm doing and have inefficient equips for a bit (Dex Shoes and Dex Cape) and than at 120 get an HT Pendant and switch back to Str Cape and Speed Shoes). Just dont add dex , keep it at 4 base. You will miss a liltle sometimes , but you will do fine.

OT: plainly theres only a couple polearms you'll need on your aran journey 1. beginner polearm 2. steel polearm (level 30 has 62wa clean) 3. maple scorpio 4. guan yu polearm (is optional but you dont need it a nicely scrolled scorpio will do fine) 5. maple karstan (is very very useful for a dexless aran, best to find 1 with around 100wa seeing as you'll be using it for around 30+ levels) 6. end game weapon (basically you have the arcglaive, diesra, but you have 100 levels before you need to decide) hope that helped

Go dexless, you don't need dex for anything, arcglaive included. It's so easy to get to 80 dex with equips. I recently started getting RID of my dex equips because I had more dex than I needed. (beyond 80, beyond acc needs)
