Over-hyped game series of all time? I've played both God of War 1 and 2 due to my sister's boyfriend having a deep infatuation with the series forcibly made me play the games because he thought I couldn't beat each title in a day each. I thought each one was just an average game. I just got done playing the demo and TO ME it seemed that the graphics of the game are very much the same and the game play is still iffy and would never consider this as being so hyped as it is.

Well, all games are hyped, just like Halo, Gears of War, MW2, Madden NFL games, Just basically everything. Its just what your interests are I suppose.

No, I agree. I've played the older games and they're nothing special. In fact, I became bored after playing for a few minutes. But I guess that style of gameplay isn't what I'm interested in.

Honestly it just seems like a pretty average game in it's genre. And I have noticed that the graphics haven't really jumped up. :/
