Best "straightening" shampoo/conditioner

Exactly what the title says..I've heard different things so what's the best from your experiences? And notice the quotes around straightening...the one that comes the closest to it I mean.. and the choices are the top choice I've gotten.. Thx (:

Pantene leaves a wax residue. I don't use a "straightening" shampoo but I use aussie.

i'm pretty sure this pantene shampoo is breaking me out. herbal essenses smells so lovely.

Pantene is way too strong for my hair. Herbal is just like, scented mush. o_o Didn't really do much for my hair...I use garnier, and have been for 2 years now. But do know that everyones hair reacts differently to different shampoo, so it might just so happens that herbal straightens your hair better or something...

I'm currently using a sulfate-free shampoo right now called Coloresse. (It's for my dyed hair) Sulfate-free = Healthier hair. As for the conditioner, I just use Herbal Essences. I'm not sure if it makes your hair "straightened" but it does make it seem shiny and soft.

if a shampoo or conditioner has silicones it'll "weigh" your hair down kind of like it'll make it look more straight as long as the shampoo you use along with it has sulfates it'll keep the silicones from building up but both of them aren't really "good" for your hair and people dont always have positive reactions either way, pantene is known for having a lot of silicones (dimethicone is the most common just look at the ingredients) which might help you or it might just make your hair look greasy personally i think aussie is your best bet. especially aussie moist; it will keep your hair from frizzing or flying away since it'll keep it moisturized and in my experience it makes it really smooth lol this post must sound so stupid wtvr

Herbal Essences is ok, it made my hair less prone to getting wavey but not like stick straight. The smell is divine though.
