This angers me quite a bit

I won't go into detail about my current situation but, here you go. I was assigned a newscast project that included 3 other people, they were my friends, they slacked off quite a bit when it came to doing their parts for it. I didn't really mind that much until my teacher kept persisting that we used our class time wisely i was fine with that, so i brought in my laptop the next day so we could all work on it using sony vegas since our school only had movie maker to edit. I asked a girl after school from my group to come to the mall with me or the library so we could edit together, she gave me the response "i'm going shopping later" since we had a school dance the next day, it angered me but i didn't make much of a fuss. The next day i brought in the final movie on a usb stick so i could upload it to my school's online server but before that i needed to attach another clip since one of my group members failed to send it to me the other day. I asked the girl from the bus stop to borrow her earphones so i could make sure it was nice and clear, her response was "GO GET YOUR OWN EARPHONES, YOU HAVE YOUR OWN WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME?" she wasn't really doing anything of importance really, she was watching Justin Bieber on youtube -.-. That moment really ticked me off i have been picking up after this slacking group when they reported this to the teacher, i took away the usb stick (since i was the only one who had the final video), and ever since then, it's been three girls giving me and the teacher excuses like "I didn't know how to use sony vegas, Lydia wouldn't let me touch her laptop, oh i was grounded" I've been offering for them to work with me, yet they have the audacity to say all this? Basil am i wrong for taking away the usb stick and stirring up such a fuss? Current Situation : multiple conversations/ almost arguments with the principal/ teacher.

Just tell the teacher the truth... that's how I did when the two others in my group was slacking, it ended with me making my own project and they could do w/e they wanted...

As the above comments , the right thing to do would be to tell the teacher the truth . They`re not doing anything . Might as well give them consequences for not even bothering to help you , even for the slightest task . :l I hope you the best of luck . c:

OT: I really do think you should tell the teacher. Explain the situation and tell what they've been doing. The teacher is more likely to believe you than the three of them, probably.

explain to the teacher what happened the same way you explain to us. your teacher should understand that you're doing all the work while your group members are doing nothing.

Eh. You just have a bad teacher. Whenever you assign a group project, you need to make the group members fill out self & peer evaluations to make sure that they do their fair share of the work. On the other hand, those friends of yours aren't really your friends, but I think you've realized it already.
