is it illegal ? im a jr. in hs and shes a freshmen im 17 and shes 14 is it illegal if i go out with her ?

it is actually illegal for anyone under 18 to have sex, since minors have no legal say in what they do. However, that law isnt often observed, except in extreme cases. But if I recall correctly, the law will generally be enforced if: A: anyone under 14 having sex with someone over 14. B: anyone under 16 having sex with someone over 18. C: anyone under 18 having sex with someone over 21.

to date it doesnt matter what the difference is (there is no law stating u cant date somebody X amount of years younger then you), to have sex its illegal (a lot of people get labeled Sex offenders for having sex with those that are underage)

Both individuals can not be considered within legal age, but they have to be at the/above the predetermined age of conscious consent. If one individual is at the age of 18 and the second is within the Age of Consent, a sexual intercourse would be considered statutory rpe.

It's not illegal to be dating. If you're 18, you can have sex with 16 and up. At 19 it's 17 and up. And at 20 and there after, it's 18 and up. So technically you couldn't sleep with her for 3 years. So if you wanna tap that, you better do it before you turn 18.

It's not illegal to have a girlfriend of any age, even if you are a 50 year old man who's interested in young girls. It only becomes illegal when there is sex involved (any form of it) because it is considered sexual assault. You have to be within 2 years of each other to have sex legally, unless you're 16 and onwards, then you can have sex with anybody you want. By the way, this is in Canada, so I don't know if it is in effect where you live. =P
