ExDeath : Because it's the end of a great story.
I see no reason to be sad when a great story ends.

It happens with some novels as well, and movies too (think Avatar). Personally I've had that thought from reading some long book series (Foundation series from Asimov for example) where I wish the storyline could go on. Of course.. that's why fanfiction exists.
Popcorn : I see no reason to be sad when a great story ends.
I see no reason to be sad when a great person dies F3. The reason is that people don't want it to end. They want it to continue as they have established a connection/attachment with the manga/person.
geek : Great, because you=everybody, amirite?
How did I say I was everybody, I just don't see the point you finish reading a manga/book that you really love..why start crying?
Popcorn : I see no reason to be sad when a great story ends.
Because the "Great Story" may have had more potential to go on. If it was great, it as popular, why end it?
My Characters: FundedAran - 26 KradiaGMS Aran Awakened

An end to something that they cherished and looked forward to everyday, now lets take eating for example you eat and eat and eat for most of your life, and one day all of the sudden you no longer need to eat due to some x factor. Now I don't know about you guys but I'd be pretty darn sad.
My Characters: KingLamer - 48 Khaini Dawn Warrior
