I think that MapleStory's immaturity level might have reached the peak or it's getting extremely close. It seemed to be one of those perfect days at first. I turned on my computer and made some breakfast, came back and opened up MapleStory. I typed in my ID and password and continued on to my PIC (or whatever they're called). I chose my ArchMage due to the fact that it's been sitting at 139 for about 2 and a half weeks now and I think it needed some training. Anyway, I log on to a lag free Scania (crazy right?) and talk to my friends for about 15 minutes and then we go our separate ways. I head off towards Malaysia and everything is going fine for now. I teleport through all those annoying maps separating me from Galloperas. I get there finally and I'm in awe. A completely clean map in every sense of the word imaginable. No drops, no monster ailments (poison, seal, etc.), no nothing but just to be sure I teleport through the entire map and check for any other person. I found nobody. I'm here thinking "I've hit the jackpot!" so I go into the Cash Shop and buy a 2x EXP coupon and come back; still empty. I activate one of my family EXP buffs (My EXP 1.5, 15 mins) and start hammering out Blizzards. Everything is going great then all of a sudden about 8 minutes after I activate the buff, someone else comes onto my channel. I stop for a minute and politely ask him to "Change channels please." to which I get a response "you stole my map you [expletive deleted]*". I go back and forth with him until my buff runs out (wasted) and he starts flinging out all of this offensive language on me. I did absolutely nothing to deserve this and I didn't expect to be treated this way, so I reported him (which is VERY against my style) but I had done nothing to deserve such behavior. Anyway, I activate another family buff (My EXP 2x, 15 mins) and try to continue training but this guy didn't like that I guess. He starts following me around the map and spamming the poison cloud move of F/P mages (Sorry F/P, I forgot the name) and says "imma kss u". I continue to train even under these conditions until my buff had about 2~3 minutes left on it. Then, out of nowhere......LAG SPIKE! I run towards cover seeing as how lag touch damages on a Mage can kill. The screen starts moving again and to my extreme regret, I was dead. I click OK with a saddened expression, knowing my small amount of 2x was just wasted, and activate my buffs. I go as fast as I can back to the map where the smug little thing was just waiting for me. I activate my next to last buff (My EXP 2x, 30 mins) and start to try and make up for that 3 or so minutes. He starts doing the same thing again. Poisons everywhere he can, as fast as he can, while he can. Right around then was when I decided that either I was destined to not play MapleStory, God hated me today, or I'm getting Karma payback for stepping on a bug in a past life. Out of nowhere, I disconnect. At this point, I'm extremely furious. I just activated

Paragraphs... please. Anyway, it feels like the community just keeps getting worse and worse. This isn't really much of a surprise. I had the same thing happen to me a few times, but I never disconnected or died. I was just stubborn and stuck around until they left.

well, problem is u give a rat's arse when someone like this comes to ur map, if experience taught me anything it is that, ignoring the buzzer is always the fastest way to get rid of him for example yesterday a bishop came to my map and said "why u ksed my friend?" i said "i never ks" then he went over me, 1hko galloperas and i was 1hko galloperas as well, he say cc, i ignore and spam blizzard, he says "dummy nub", i stood there spamming blizzard, casting my skills ,,, etc ... 4 minutes and he was gone offending the offender is mostly the worst approach ever to solve a problem "from my work experience and social one as well i know that's a FACT", ignoring him or his rude words tends to be efficient in real life and in maplestory i guess, just ignore his the rudeness and return to doing whatever u were doing ASAP, and prolly the problem will move away by itself without u being identified at any part of it as "the rude/mistaken one"

[/quote] He's already separated them with a space. o_o OT: This type of thing happens on a daily basis for numerous maplers. You just have to deal with it. It's a part of Maplestory.

It was as if his entire life was based on trying to KS a mage who could hit 70K almost on Galloperas for as long as he possibly could. I asked numerous times for him to please leave but the responses were just rude and unyielding.
