Do you find the Macro's text feature annoying?

As the title says, do you find it annoying? I believe they are detrimental. They are an eyesore. They display anything from advertisements to people begging (Especially for fame). From offensive language that can't be recorded or reported with the normal chat window, to the player's bragging of mediocre damage ranges or equips. I could deal with all of that, I suppose. The only thing I would suffer is a few brief seconds of annoyance. Yet, where this issue really becomes a problem is during boss runs. When everyone is spamming skills and buffs as fast as they can, the macros induce quite a bit of lag. It also hides health bars, player chats (it's easier to read chat on the main window than from the chat window), and even entire characters. This makes a challenging boss run of 15+ players even more difficult. Now don't get me wrong. I've actually seen players use it for the intended purpose - creating innovative skill names for their combos. There have been a handful of macros that have made me chuckle, but in my opinion the net effect of being able to name macros is negative. Thoughts and counter-arguments are welcome.

I just can't stand dexless narutards saying TASTESHURIKEN!1!1! or KUNAITHROW!"11! anymore... Or other people that put on stupid names on their macros. Mine are just Body Enhance and Polearm Power

There used to be a Macros Off rule for bossing. I guess people just don't care now.

I turned it off D: I was using the macro shout when I was looking for a maple shield though :P To entreat the bubblings to drop a shield for me T-T It took forever >.>

It should be client sided. Kind of annoying to see those random assassins and warriors go like; "~~~BOOSTREEE~~~" "~~PARTIHESTE~~" I can keep on going...

It pisses me off when I see people running around with damagehoar macros like IOWNU or IPWNU or smexyDamage and the like. It irritates me more when people with those types of macros have horrible damage... On the other hand, I like funny macros like one time I saw a CB using band of theives and the macro was "MyNi**uhs",(*=a certain letter) it was either that or MyCholos, regardless, it was funny but racist.

I only find it annoying when it is used on a skill that is always used by that job. Example: Lucky Seven's macro: Go Ilbis! BUT i think its okay when they are just mounts or buffs Example: WasteOf20Mil, WasteOf10Mil, Chocobo!, etc.

I just hate the really lame ones and when people rename a move to something generic and retarded. I hate when people rename a move/attack period, though. It's not "Blue Rush" or "Flash Step", it's Combat Step. Dumbass. I've even seen a couple people rename Combat Step to "Flash Jump". It's not even a jump...
