i am mad at every1 dissin fire mages, evry1 of me friends are always tellin me that i should make a cleric or ice mage. I am startin to get really annoyed because i dont suck.

lots of clerics party too much and end up being poor lots of the other 2 mage classes are richer than clerics dont forget that ice mages and fire mages have better drops (and barely use hp pots, party less) while clerics save pot money

im an ice lit mage, in i love it, but fire is pretty cool... best thing to do, get a ice friend, a cleric friend,(other cleric will be good) n go explorin.. u lvl 36, go to sanctuary .. get some town scrolls too hehe

Meh, nothing wrong with fire mages. No one said you sucked anyway. Your friends should learn to like you for who you are, not what job you pick. Fire wizards/mages don't suck, they are just not needed in a party. Priests can heal and bless and that kind of stuff, Ice/Lightning mages can do thunderspear wich has 20 base damage more then the most powerfull fire mage attack and people rather freeze monsters then poison them. But they got an attack wich 6 enemies with a base damage of 120 wich isn't bad at all.

They are lucky to get a lot of elemental advantages, so they can hunt YnP/ WW/ Lycanthropes at high levels. It is unfortunate, as they will be met with a dilema of what to train on at level 100+, as they are one of the few sub-classes that can't train of the high exp bains. (look at Syoran o_O) Off to ludi, every one of them

I will admit i am prejustice against i/l, because it seems most ks'ing mages are spamming lightening on MY kill. If you cant control the spell, train away from other or on another ledge. And both my friends that made a cleric stopped playing them. Hmm. Most of my friends, including me, are fire mage. We help train other cleric friends though fire do best solo'ing or with others of our kind. That way, we kill at the same rate. And with (reliable, alert) clerics in the party, we dont have to have magic guard on. If you arent sociallable, cleric may not be the way to go.
