People that are magicians and wizards refering to themselves as mages, is an insult to the players that have actually taken the time to achieve the rank of mage... Thank you O_o Edit: 8-29 = Magician 30-69 = Wizard 70-120 = Mage" Oh, hah. Maple is the only game I've seen that delineates the mage class like this. Personally, magician sounds corny, and wizard makes me think of that Harry Potter crap that has inundated the world. (I do love the terms fizard and lizard, though.) And maybe they're just being optimistic. You know, 'maybe if I call myself a mage now, I can get to level 70.' |

 | dirigible- people have been calling the magician class mages since beta when we didn't even have 3rd job. it happens, and mage/magician/wizard are pretty much interchangeable in the english language if you're really that easily insulted I sugest you stay away from the internet. |

| You also need 1 bowman for the Ludi PQ, so 4 Fizards, 1 bandit/sin, and a hunter. |

| If you notice, the people responding to this thread that only see ice/fire mages and clerics are respectively ice/fire mages and clerics themselves. This is because a) you spend most of your time training (at least the serious players do, anyway) and b) you're going to go to prime training spots for ur class (i.e. ice mages going to fire boars). Thereby obviously c) you're most likely going to see your own class training in the same spots you do. As an ice mage, 95% of the mages i see at fire boars/jr cellions, etc. are all ice mages. It's probably the same for clerics and fire mages. Other than that, i do agree that the majority of magicians choose first the cleric job, with ice second most popular and fire mages last. However, there isn't nearly that much of a discrepancy such as the BW and Axe warriors. |
