This is a bit startling, but the more I think about government (and more importantly, authority), the more I'm becoming convined it's an unnecessary evil. What's your view on Anarchism (note, not the same as 'Anarchy').

My views on anarchism? It won't ever work out in a real-life society, thus the reason why no countries in the world have anarchism ~_~ Although it can be pretty tempting at times o.o

Anarchism has actually been tried in real life, but has it not occured to you that the very reason why it hasn't been tried is that those in authority continue to abuse it, without considering how they oppress others? That's why I'm becoming anarchist. Because power, even in little quantitties, clouds the judgement.

Old African tribes had stateless societies, which basically were societies without government. However, even they had elders in the clan that meet in a council at times. You can't eliminate an elevated or ruling position unless all gov'ts fall at the same time and humans get over their power hungry urge.

There will always be someone standing at the top, ordering everyone below. It was also like that way back in time - native americans/indians had chief's - aborigins in australia also had those leaders, i forgot what theyre called.

Positions of authority have formed out of a need of survival and organization. What Anarchists believe is that you don't need authority OR some position of power (able to impose it's views on others) to achieve organization and social survival. It's allowing individuals to interact with each other respectfully, and removing the temptation that authority brings.

mskillaboyThere are 4 types of people in this world - D's, I's, S's, and C's. Btw, this isn't made up. It's actually a real thing, and you can take a test for like $80 to figure out a 30 page description of who you are and it's deadly accurate. I would go more in-depth, but I'm too lazy. Anyways, The I's are like the partiers, they are very unorganized and only wish to have fun, they don't plan for the future. The S's are extremely friendly and caring. They're like animal lovers, except the ones that don't wish for others to die. lol C's are very analytical, plan everything out, make everything perfect and try to do many things at once. Now for the D's. Basically, before I say anything, you can divide D's into 3 levels. Just a plain old D. An extreme D. And an "asswh0le." D's are the type of people who wish to be in-charge, take control of everything, and MUST give their opinions and MUST have their ideas used. They also always think they are right. The D's are usually the rulers that cause chaos and misfortune. Right now, Obama is mostly a S-C combination. That's actually the perfect combination for a president, but his problem is that he has somewhat of an I in him too. If he was more C-S, then he would be great. In this world, the best leaders are the ones who never give up and perservere with the goal of not helping just themselves, but helping others too.

yPOS1I've been reading a lot of H L Mencken lately, so I sort of see where this is coming from.

I don't think it can work unless the permanent pitfalls of society can be erased or completely suppressed. In other words, it won't work.
