Corsair Keyboard Layout

Ever since recently making corsair, I've been wondering what exactly would be the most beneficial keyboard setting for me, as Corsairs are way up there with Bucs and Shadowers with having an extremely large number of active skills. Battleship's location was pretty much set but it's Cannon and Torp and other skills which get me since I'm so accustomed my Outlaw's traditional layout. And since I have a laptop instead of a regular PC, jump shooting with Cannon is a challenge (same thing with strafing and other attacks on my bowmaster). So I wanted to know the layout of keyboards of fellow corsairs, particularly for those who play on a laptop. Screenshots would be nice.

masamunee : Well, we're talking about a scenario where a ground based magic attack is used (such as when the Newtie slams its vines into the ground and it comes out in little semicircles) and you need to evade and possibly counterattack at the same time. I already know that it's possible to do so with Ice Splitter but Cannon is the question. So far, it's hard for me, although I got jump shooting with Cannon perfectly now. While it's true for Flamethrower being used as a kill move, I still keep it off because I rarely go to it. Furthermore, it's a pain to have Blaze Capsules stored in my inventory (I'm not going to upgrade slots that quickly); I could easily keep an extra set of Shiner Bullets or a scroll/pots. ooo, oh k. i get the jump + shot thing not and with ice, your pot use should be low [150 sorcerers can go on 1 slot], cannon is bullet-efficient, my 16 sets last me around 7x% sniping newties with burst [torp will help increase that alot when at newties and taking bottom], so the extra 1 or 2 sets of blaze bullets won't hurt anyone. if i ever go bossing/questing/randomly off the edge of MS earth, i replace a set of blaze with all-cures, but other then that i keep then in my inven

Jump shotting with Cannon and Torpedo is easy. You can't back jump shot, or at least you can't go anywhere with it (80 speed), but you don't really need to. None of your attacks have minimum range and you do enough damage to KB all monsters that you will be fighting so there's no need to move back. I only carry 8 sets of bullets + 2 Glaze, so 1 Blaze capsule is not a big deal even though my inventory is not expanded. Flamethrower is excellent at Skeles and unfreezing is not a problem because you can jump over their beams. I'll admit I almost never use it in Oblivion, though.

Ah... I really don't want to necropost, but how much jump would you need to just barely evade the laser beams? Because sometimes Dash requires too much time (split second, but still too much in my opinion), despite the 10 jump it provides, so I haven't been able to test accurately.

Not sure, I have 123 jump without Dash. I think it's around 115.
