I was just wondering, but can you start up maple in window mode? because it makes me lag when i switch from full screen to window mode

It's windowed mode, and no, you can't.

you could try dxwnd, which basically can force full screen directx apps into a window

ah, well thanks for telling me, and i'm not going to use dxwnd, it's a 3rd party program
