This might have been pointed out already, but... I'll just say this anyways. Teenage "love" is very, very rare. Nearly impossible. No, whatever feeling you might have is just a deep lust for their looks - or their personality. That applies to all the other naive little kids in High school who think they've found their "life-long love". Crap like, "he's the one for me; always and forever". And some people write those kinds of sayings after only a few days after their initial relationship. What a lot of teens are so blind to see that puppy-love is not real love. It just sickens me to gaze upon their ignorance. REAL love is a whole different matter. If you'd do ANYTHING for your significant one and expect NOTHING at all (no sex or anything - or money), then you might actually have something going on there. And he/she does the same for you, then you might actually have something there. However, really, guys. A lot of teens just don't know that they want that pride of having someone that's "good-looking" by their side - and to do "stuff" with them. It's just all hormones. I hope some of you agree with me - and see what I see.

Ragin' hormones, we can't really help it.

I agree with you completely. Though it's easier watched than experienced. When in the "puppy love", it's blinding and feels entirely real. Only after the experience do you realize that it wasn't as real as it seemed.

I don't see all that much mislabeled love around here... Personally, I've labeled feelings as love before, and it's taught me to not jump to conclusions from now on.

I'll wait till I think I'm in love. Never been to that point yet. Haven't experienced the cruelty of love, I must experiment first.

The only time I've actually labeled a relationship as 'in love', well .. she was taken from me. I don't know what I'm supposed to learn from that. .___.;

Well, i agree, but in my case, i really do believe she might be the one, We have EVERY thing in common. Inside and out.

With you on that - my two best friends are exactly like what I've explained and it's like I've got a front row seat to observe and learn, haha.

Good luck finding "REAL LOVE" being so cynical.

Who are you to judge the reality of someones love for another. jealous.

I totally just watched my friends (whom are a teen couple) finally duke it out and get into their final fight, which ended in them breaking up. Finally, over a year later, I got to laugh in people's faces when I said the relationship would never last. Yup, teen love is pointless.

This all depends on your definition of love...... ex1. Wow I love this pie! (the pie is really really tasty) ex2. I love how the watch looks on you! (the watch looks good on said person) ex3. average teenage boy: "I love you" (can I get in your pants?) ex4 old couple talking to each other: "I love you" (we've been together for a long time, it's nice being with you) All in all, it's just based on perspective. Personally, I think the word "love" used in a relationship sense is another word for instinct, the urge to reproduce.
