Hello All, I am starting this thread in regards to a huge scam "Richnodex" tried to perform. For people who don't know, he made a thread saying Nexon is accepting applications for GM position and posted a fake link(It impersonated Nexon). The link asked for players nexon id, password and PIN. It seems many innocent people fell for this and they are most likely lost their account. Another instance of this happened yesterday when some guy tried to link to a disgusting video. My point is threads that have link to the outside must be verified by the moderators, before they can be posted. So What you people say? Here is the link of that guy who tried to scam. link

You know how long it would take for it to get Verified? This is a bad idea. People just need to watch out for these kind of scams. Thats why people post under to tell you.

Well you are right, but not everyone try to warn others. By the time moderators get lots of reports about that thread, many already got affected by that.

The problem is that many small kids have access to this site and they really can't differentiate good from bad. Although it takes time for the moderators to verify the link, it ensures basil market users privacy and safety.

First off, the most obvious problem that would be the main reason why this wont happen: We don't have that many moderators, and this would literally take all their time. No one would want to be a mod, and it wouldn't work. Then you have to consider that I personally post links to help in tech section fairly often, and if I had to wait a very long time for those links, people couldn't get help nearly as fast. This applies to everyone. It just wouldn't make sense.

It would take forever to verify.. you can see that some stupid / inappropriate threads take some time to be locked/deleted.

The mods have enough work to do as it is. They're not going to sit around approving every single link that people decide to post. There should be a warning about clicking links around the site somewhere, though.

On the internet it's not hard to find bad things. You need to use common sense. What you're suggesting requires everyone else to sacrifice for the needs of few who can not do things such as that for themselves.
