I need to know. How did you muster up the patience to get to the 4th job as paladin? I'm having a hard time being patient

You're in the early stages. It doesn't get bad until the 11x. Just stick with it, and be sure you're playing because you enjoy it, and not because of any hype surrounding the class.

The man speaks right. Training at 8x 9x, even 10x is pretty easy. A level a day is simple. But if you love your class and are motivated by your Paladin skills, you will make it.

If you think it's hard now just quit and don't waste your time.

"patiently" to get rush, didnt really mind acb holy etc etc just rush, i was so excited about being able to mob that THAT was my motivation :D

It's not really patience, it's just a matter of time. As long as you don't die, even if you only train 5% every day, you'll eventually get there. There's no rule or regulation stating how fast you have to train, or when you have to be a certain level - and imposing that kind of thing is the best way to lose interest in a class entirely. Log on and train if you feel like it, and if you keep doing that for a year, or maybe 2 years, you'll find yourself advancing to Paladin. Seriously the main thing is a lot of time... I was level 100 in 2006. I didn't hit 120 & advance to Paladin until 2008. 14 months, 20 levels - not a huge time commitment every day. Maybe half an hour to an hour on average.

I actually like to train, well, for less than 2 hours a sitting at least, i get bored afterward. But since i love my character and enjoy playing it. It doesn't really require that much patience. Just play because you like it and find it enjoyable, otherwise you'll have a hard time leveling. Don't play because you want high levels but play because you enjoy it. What's the point in the game if you don't enjoy it?

Just play with what you have. And be glad you have the current options for experience gain. Back then it was Bains, Vikings, and Grims. Bain didn't even have a proficient map to train in. Now there are what? Red Kents, Red Wyvern, the monsters in Aquaroad, etc. Then there are the PQs like Mpq and CWKpq. You have no right to complain. FYI levels 105+ are going to be your worst nightmare. Well, at the current rate you are deteriorating at least. Lets hope you make it to 100 first.

personally i LOVED lvls 80-110, those were my favorite lvls, seeing pretty high damage (at that time) go up cause i finally maxed fire and was able to equip my morningstar, LOVED IT! :D then after that... no comment xD but paladin is fun :D
WolfJounin Jun 19 2009 + PM | QUOTE | PERMALINK | REPORT
WolfJouninIt's not hard, even back then when leveling was much harder. Actually, I'm surprised you're asking this in your 80's and not at 100. It's really REALLY easy to level from 80 to the early 100's, then it starts to become difficult unless you have a priest as a good friend (then again, it might be even easier considering 2 years have passed since I quit).
