Are Attack Shields a must?

I was thinking about maple a dexless dit. I was just wonder, do I HAVE to get a W.ATT Maple Shield? I'm not sure if I should buy a W.ATT Maple Shield, or just pump str later on to use my khanjar. Another question I have is; Which would be better Dexless with no attack shield @ level 70 or Low Dex/Str with a 7 attack khanjar @ level 70. I'm not entirely sure how much 7attack will boost my damage. On a different note; I was just wondering. How much did you guys spend on your dexless or reg dit? I'm also curious about how much dexless or reg sins as well. Thanks :]

IMO, I think atk shields are a must. At lower lvls, I recommend using luk shields because they are cheaper. When you are 80+, start using the khanjars. I think a low dex/str will beat the dexless. On my 102dex shadower, I spent around 1.5bil on equips.

A shield is as necessary as an att wg. You dont NEED it, but it's really nice to get one. BTW, i believe 7 att ~35 luck or so. It's more efficient to not use a reg Khanjar, unless you scroll with WA. But if you can afford Shield for WA, you should probably just get a scrolled MS

If u got money to spend (2.5b+, which i doubt cuz its pretty much to me too) than get a maple shield, if u got less money (sumthin like 500m) get a 8atk for 120m? and a good WG which makes u already very strong. If u got less than 150m, dont get one, or try a luk shield, OR ELSE a wristguard.

I never realized attack shields would cost so much. So, would a dexless sin be cheaper? (Assuming I only use steelys) Or well prices of many sets of stars, summoning rocks, claws, etc eventually cost way more than a good dagger & attack shield? Simply put; what would cost more, a dexless sin or a dexless dit. (Both start out dexless and convert to low dex later)

" actually, it's not that impossible. i've planned out something for myself if i wanted to wear a dkhanjar: 4str, 80dex base 17str, 17dex helm 22str, 22dex pendent 24str overall 13dex shoes 12dex earrings 8str cape adding this together gives you 75str and 144dex, with 4 base str and 80 base dex. the extra 6 dex can be made by scrolling my zhelm for dex, getting better dex earrings, or buying a face equip for dex (personally i'd rather scroll my helm with 100% dex scrolls to get the 6 dex). from what i've calculated, i'll need at least a 28 atk dkhanjar to match my damage from an 18 atk maple shield. going lowdex would be much cheaper, since i won't have to worry about getting a 24 str overall (180-200mil) or a ht pendent (who knows, quite a bit). but whipping around a dragon kreda and khanjar with my same stats would be nice *edit: on topic, i find that atk shields are a must for high level cbs and shadowers. bandits don't really need them, but good shields are the same as wearing 1-2 more sets of atk gloves. also, you don't have to get a maple shield. i wear a stolen fence and i do fine. they're cheaper

Bandits don't really need attack shields, in fact, i admit that I had and scrolled a Nimble Wristguard and used one for a very long time, in which that Nimble Wristguard was perfectly defense scrolled LOL. Now as a much higher Chief Bandit with most skills maxed attack shields will provide very large bonuses to your damage.

I'm level 117 and I'm still without an attack shield....o_o Obviously it isn't necessary if you don't need a shield to attack

Only if you plan to get to level 80+ or an attack shield is not worth it.
