Luckless | Worth It?

Are Luckless worth ti, Im lvl 52 Luckless and Im wondering should i go REG or go Low-Luk( 80 base Luk for Low-Luck) Im leaning to Low-Luk w/ 80 Base Luk so my end game weapon would be DoomsDay Staff?

I'm sitting on 80 base luk low-luk, and I think it's fine. However, statistically lukless is better for damage. The m.atk gain from weapons doesn't make up for the luk required for them, and if all that luk were to go into int (INT > M.atk anyway), you'd have a much higher magic attack overall. It's your choice, really. Crappy looking equips, or a lot more variety? I love the lv. 68 overall for mages, so I went with that and scrolled it nicely.

Luckless is always better, unless you care about how your clothes look like (e.g. dark engimatic instead of sauna) Since the highest level luckless weapon is level 130, luckless ALWAYS dominates with same funding.

Doesn't maple warrior max int at 999 later on so normal luk wins? Correst me if I'm wrong. Also, luk DOES add damage, but insignificantly.

Since 1INT = 1m.atk, the luk req doesn't make up for the m.atk/int gain on items

yes they are worth it when i was lvl 25 i could outdamage a lvl 36 non funded reg luk mage : i was non funded too XD the only thing i had was a 8 int 6 matt wooden wand

Brtw I dont wana make another charcter... ):" Don't worry about it too much. Just cap your luk at some equip (or the next equip) that you want, and leave it there. That way at least you get some of the benefit of low-luk, and then just start buying lukless weapons once they overpower your current luk-required weapon. (Which probably isn't too far off, the Maple Llama Staff/Nocturnal Staff, I'm thinking) The benefit of lukless starts at the very beginning. To equip the lv. 10 staff, you already need 13 luk, and it gives 25 m.atk. If you left your luk at 4, you'd have 68 Int at this point, giving you 68 magic with a lv. 8 22 m.atk wand for a total of 90 magic. However, if you put the 13 into luk, you'd have 59 Int, 13 luk, and a lv. 10 25 m.atk wand for a total magic of 84. Make sense? At level 10, that's already a base difference of 6 magic, and it only increases over time as the lukless build gets new weapons.

"Unfunded" LUKless only out-damage "unfunded" reg-LUK when they get their maple staves.
